Hi Paul, Two weeks ago, I bought a BX1880 (my first tractor) and I have watched many of your videos which have generated a number of "Hey, that's a good idea" moments. Thank You. Today, I was moving a few rocks (400 to 500 lbs). I don't remember which video you mentioned it in but I tried placing the bucket behind the rock, holding the brake and using the bucket tilt to pull the rock. Worked like a charm. Thank You again...

Hey Pauland Kathy. Been following Jeff Bradshaw at the elderly Iron channel. Hes a down home gentleman like yourself. Hes a farmer and a mechanic. Hi Paul I would definitely wire mine in on a switch with a fuse. I was a mechanic for 40 years and I still like to keep my hands in it as much as I can and neatness counts. Great mod and video have a wonderful weekend.

That’s great for sure but if the light is used as is there is a fuse in the end plus plus if you use the accessory plug on the tractor it is fused as well. Keep well.

Hi Paul, any thought on making the center hole larger (maybe 1 1/2 inches or 2 inches) so the plug will fit through it? Of course if the customer wanted they could drill it out themselves to fit whatever light they have. Be safe, Stanley in Md.

Could it be mounted upside down if you have a canopy on your ROPS?

Depends on how close your canopy is to the top of your ROPS. If it’s an inch off it could be done.

I rewatched your arbor press video you did about 5 years ago and you mentioned a pin router build? That would be really interesting to see. I searched on your channel but couldn't find it. I found a 5 ton press dirt cheap and I'm adding a torque wrench to it and had to check back to maybe add the spring as well. You rock!

Thank you. When I did the arbor press (fret press) it was for my younger son. I had folks asking me to build more of them but this was a “one off”. At that time I had the pin router half completed. I put a lot of time and money into those projects that I took care of but I felt it wasn’t appreciated so I gave up on the pin router and a few years later It was simply thrown out for scrap. Sometimes when things come to easy they aren’t appreciated. I figured if I was going to answer your question I may as well do it honestly. Thanks for watching and keep well.

Great video. I might be ordering one for my JD 1025R - I have to measure the ROPS. BTW - nice vice on your bench, is it new or an older unit? If it is new, where did you get it? Michael from Alberta

Michael. That’s a Wilton “Tradesman” vice. Very nice unit. I bought it new a few years ago. Princess Auto had them. They are made in the USA but they wanted over $900. For it then one day I was in the store and they had it marked down to $499. so I bought it. It’s hands down the nicest unit I ever used. Thanks.

Rick we’ve been out only about three times. Mostly using the convertible because of the extreme heat we have been getting. We’re doing well. We’ve been extremely busy but that’s a good thing in these crazy times. It helps keep our mind off the craziness. Hope your doing well and getting nice rides in. Have a great weekend.
