Rory and Dean are my OTP. He was the perfect boyfriend. I mean season 1 Dean was something out of a book! I hate that the writers had to strip him of his most amazing traits, just to make room for Jess. Dean was way to jealous over the later seasons, but Rory really didn't treat him that well. And he was so good too her. I don't care what people say, Rory and Dean are meant to be.

Everyone loves Jess but I've always loved Dean and Rory together. Jess is manipulative, stubborn, everything has to always be his way, he can leave when he wants to and that's not healthy at all, and for that reason I've never liked Jess. Dean was always kind and loving to Rory, they really had something special and always managed to end up together (until the 5th season) I personally think Dean and Rory were the best and now I'm crying

Jess made her believe that Dean didn’t have things in common. They were together for a long time. If they didn’t have anything in common, how did they last so long? During the series, we see when she opens up about a fight with Lorelai, college aplications and so on. She let go of guy who she trusted like this for some dude with the same taste in books and bands. That was so childlish. I believe she didn't understand about love yet. But she confessed Lane later she messed up. It was a lesson about the difference of crush and love. So sad!

Nice video. I hate that the writers broke them up and never pieced them back together. He really liked her but she had a wandering eye. By 2005 Dean was starting on Supernatural so they probably did not want to recast him. They could have had him leave for college and come back for the last episode. I get why they broke up the first time. What would be the point of a relationship if they don't love each other. I get why they broke up the second time. Rory was in love with another guy. But the third time was just really stupid. They broke up because of what?! she's rich while he isn't. I mean, if you were gonna have Rory break someone's marriage, she should AT LEAST end up with him. When she finally did break dean's relationship, he left her and she didn't even try to convince him to not leave her. I hate what the writers did, it just seemed like the characters were breaking apart Dean is like the perfect boyfreind but i did start to get the feeling that Rory wasn't treating him how he deserved to be treated and Dean started to turn into this jealous, angry person. Both of them felt wayyy out of character it was like watching completely different ppl. Soooo glad that atleast he's happy but feeling real bad for how the revival decreased Rory's value as a character and molded her through other ppl :(

I'd love to see a video of all of Dean's hardships to get Rory, this is going to sound so specific but these are the kinda things/clips I really wanna see in a video as I haven't seen most of them in any fanvid yet!; - Not being initially accepted (that ep where Richard doesn't approve of him and makes it obvious over dinner) - Dean being protective against Tristin (drama at the ball, in Doose market and with the play) - After they break up the first time everyone blames Dean and they don't like him, like when Luke kicks him out the diner - When they're back together and Dean catches Jess at Rory's house - Basically all the times Dean notices Rory smiling or looking at Jess and visa versa, like at the non-stop dance episode, or the ep where everyone stays at the inn and Jess waves at them to wind Dean up. - When Dean looks in the window of Lukes and see's Jess and Rory talking and he looks all cute and sad looking in. - When they do the basket bidding and a date with Rory and Jess purposely outbids Dean and he can't afford to go higher so Jess wins. - When Rory and Jess get together and Dean starts getting friendly again with Rory to annoy Jess, like at the town fayre, when Dean is in the school hallway and Jess and him have a bit of a confrontation, and then behind the alleyway when Jess takes the binbags out one time and Dean has a word with him. - THE DAYUUMMM FIGHT AT THE PARTY. literally my favourite scene. - Obviously there is the affair stuff, the only part about that that I really like, is when Lorelei walks in and Dean was 'just leaving', all dishevelled.. and when Lindsay chucks all his stuff out the window after she finds out. - The tension between Dean and Luke after he gets back with Rory. - When he realises he is no good for Rory and doesn't fit in with her life.

I haven't watched the whole series but for what I've seen Dean was so in love with her but she started to have feelings for the other guy and wasn't realizing the hurt she was doing to Dean.
