This video was not scheduled, I swear. I was mind my own business on twitter after long day at work, when suddenly I read a tweet with a quote about soulmates. Mind blowing. Every word reminded me of Jess & Rory, so I was inspired by it and made this video that was originally supposed to be not more longer than 1:30 minutes, but then I started editing and, you know, you can't really planning these things before, I guess. Anyway, I cannot believe I reached 15k subscribers, I'm beyond grateful, thanks for sticking around and watch my shitty edits, lol ❤️️

Watching this made me tear up because it reminds me so much of my first love that I didn’t think was love until it was all too late. I met him at my college orientation and he was one of the presenters along with my tour guide around the campus. During that walk we continued exchanging glances and since then I couldn’t get him out of my mind - a month later we exchanged info and started talking since, became really close friends and soon had our first date at “our beach.” We had no labels for what we were but I regret it so much because at the beginning he wanted a relationship but I told him we needed to take it slow. What I’m trying to say is that when you love someone, when you truly love someone don’t let them go because it will be too late at the end. Everything was just far too complex - we both had a lot going on at home and he was under pressure with school, but we also needed to figure each other out as individuals. We decided it was best to end things, stopped talking for months and evidently I pulled up the courage to call him. Within those months we finally returned to our first place that it all began to closed it in an understanding and with love for each other in a rather new way of things.

Lorelai: She's moving on and she's very happy. Rory: 1:57 This is sad. How Lorelai didn't realize her own daughter was - and still is - so lost and unhappy? I barely recognize her as a viewer, how she couldn't? Her involution started in Season 5 till now in the recent revival. It's like she's living her life passively, she just do things without thinking, and - correct me if I'm wrong - but we never saw her reading books as she used to do in earlier seasons, after she started dating Logan. Even saddest? When Jess suggested her to write a book in the revival he said: "You need to write something that you're passionate about." And she answered: "What is that foreign concept you speak of? Passion? Is that really a thing?" This is very very depressing....

Awwe this is so true it breaks my heart! That is sad how she didn't notice how hurt, and sad she was. She had many things she was passionate about before that is so sad how destructive her life has become! Hopefully the writers will do justice, and she will get the happy ending she deserves, Jess will help her out of the pit she is in, and finally realize it is him she has always loved! It's like she lost all her passions being with Logan. When she was with Jess she had all kinds of things she was passionate about, and he encouraged her in her goals! He always pushes her to be her best self, like she rescued him, now he is the one rescuing her! The writers need to fix this, and finally give them the happy ending they deserve!

It's like they always running in circles to one another. When Rory was ready for Jess, he had problems and had to leave, when Jess was ready for Rory she was scared to get hurt again and chooses to stay with Logan. I feel like Rory subconsciously knows she still loves Jess, but she's afraid that's why she always rejected him, it has nothing to do with Logan. I don't really think that she loves Logan, she convinced herself she's in love with him like Lorelai has always idealized his feelings for Christopher but deep down she knew Luke was the one. I feel like it's the same story all over again. Except that Jess has loved Rory way more longer, even when sometimes she didn't deserve it. Thanks for this masterpiece ❤️

Exactly, and if Rory was really so in love with Logan would never rejected his proposal. Idk, it's like Rory is stuck in this limbo, she just choose to stay with Logan cause it's a simple relationship, he doesn't expect anything from her, he doesn't encourage her to change her life, and I feel like he doesn't even care. All they did is making out. It's not that deep. Jess always wanted the best for her, he pulls her out of her comfort zone, he make her questioning her life. And that scares her. A lot. I think the mainly reason of Rory unhappiness is herself. Because she's afraid of open herself to the change. Jess wasn't, he had the courage to take a step forward and facing the unknown. And look what he become now, look at his development 🙌 I feel like Rory is still stuck, I really want to see a sequel because I want to see Rory's journey more than anything. She's the only character who didn't had a proper closure, I feel so bad cause everybody hates her now, she deserve a redemption arc, c'mon!

Tbh i was okay if she doesn't end up with jess but i hate ASP to make her pregnant. She was about to rise up again, the last episode should be about her trying to get agent and publisher to her book, not about her making lorelai shock with her pregnancy. All these times lorelai struggle to make her only daughter doesn't feel what she felt, to be a brooke single mother in the beginning. This pregnancy arc come out of nowhere, just become an insult to lorelai's character

I believe this is the most beautiful Rory and Jess edit I have ever seen. It really portraits their relationship well, how despite being soulmates the timing never was right for them. I hope if AYITL has a season 2, Rory and Jess could be together. I know Rory has become a really terrible person and doesn't actually deserve Jess, but I think their relationship could make her grow up and mature and finally have a stable non-toxic relationship. Not just him being her Luke, but the whole story coming full circle, him starting off as the bad boy having bad influence on her, blowing the relationship because of not having his shit together yet, and her changing him for the better and living up to his potential and in the end HIM getting her back on track. twice! out of all the people constantly present in her life, no one could help her find her way again, but Jess, the one who everyone wanted to protect her from, by randomly showing up always at the right time. so. HOW. in the world. they did not end up together in the revival??!?? i will never understand.

Okay, great, I am crying again 😂 This is such a beautiful and heartbreaking edit. I firmly believe that Rory and Jess are soulmates and the fact that at first they had these stupid communication problems, then Rory moved on to Logan while making so many mistakes along the way but Jess grew up so much just freaking hurts me.
