Dude we need more people drawing squirrelflight as the strong character she is. She never cried in this scene, she stared down her obsessive ex and told him that they weren't her kits to save their lives. She's a badass because damn. She did what she thought was best to save her kits despite her claim and willingly paid the price for their safety. Can I also just say. That was epic, the lighting is godly, the characters look AMAZNG and the backgrounds? Just jaw-dropping it all looks so gooooooodddd

I saw the wip for this and couldn’t stop thinking about it, now that it’s done I can say I’m still impressed! I love the first shot and how it holds for the right amount of time, and how you can really feel the emotion. It turned out amazing!!

THE EMOTIONS, THE COLOUR, THE GESTURES, EVERYTHING IS SO PERFECT OMGHKDJFJF. The atmosphere of this part is absolutely beautiful! Ashfur’s pain is so heavily shown in this part, especially after he yells “Why”. You can see the pain in his eyes and I absolutely adore it!! The response from Squirrelflight is perfect, and you freakin nailed her exhaustion from the situation. I also love that there’s contrast between the emotions that Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf are feeling. Everything about this part is outstanding and I can’t wait for the map to be finished! The animation and colour are absolutely stunning! The red fits perfectly with the atmosphere of this part and the animation is beyond smooth. Watching the fire in the background die down as the music died down was also very satisfying. Wonderful job, you’re outstanding.

Owlspark are you god??? This is literally the best map part I've ever seen. I love your lip sync so much, its super smooth and you can tell what they're saying even without the music. Even for this being like your first time, the fire is awesome??? how. I love the sparks and how it moves. And the colors are gorgeous too!! (personally I love red so it's even more appealing.) I love Ashfur's pupil dilation, it looks really nice. I also love their expressions, you did real well conveying their emotions!! I also love his head shake and how he jumps at the end. Did I mention how nice this looks???

Absolutely one of the strongest parts of the entire MAP. The raw emotion you were able to convey on his face match up PERFECTLY with the desperate, scratchy vocals. Like, this gave me chills. The stylized red fire doesn't distract the eye from the characters, it only enhances the atmosphere. Incredibly well done.

I can't handle ashfurs face at 0:04 :( I'm not sure if you saw the part after yours, but ashfur is in the same spot and everything, so the running part at the end might not transition too well into the next part. But hey, it's still a strong ending, lots of emotion throughout the whole part. I love this to death!

This animation broke my heart. Broke it to pieces. You can literally feel Ashfur's pain and anger, Squirrelflight's determination, and Jayfeather's tension. I love Hollyleaf's shocked expression as her old world literally burned away in flames. And Lionblaze? He looks like he finally understands his mentor's attitude towards himself, everything has fallen into place for him. Of all Ashfur's animations in the fire scene, this one has the most emotional intensity, and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with a broken heart.
