Host a multi-million dollar “party” where all the top dawgs at the company get to hang out with Rory McElroy, play a little golf, drink and eat some lovely meals. Capital One just bought Discover, these corporations have money to burn. They hardly care about advertising anymore, did you watch the Super Bowl?

@@Chaz1724I get the idea of what you’re saying but they aren’t going to pay for a televised event and intentionally not promote it bc it’s just a party. Sponsoring an event is a marketing decision and the decision to not promote the match beyond “live now” banners would’ve been nice. Especially for the fans who would’ve enjoyed watching it live

@@Chaz1724actually was aware, saw adverts on tv and social. Just didn’t care to watch. This was borderline unwatchable w Tiger/Phil, dunno what ratings were w lpga, Rors, Max. Rors when not winning majors has zero appeal. The others even less so.
