I just watched this episode on Netflix. I love how Lorelei nailed the two girls for sneaking off. She may of had Rory at 16 but she definitely knows how to be a parent. Yeah Lorelei and Rory have a very strong mother daughter relationship and it shows how trustworthy they are to each other. I think that this is the most bonding that Rory and Paris has ever had, it was great to see them finally get along.

What I loved, and keep loving, about Lorelei and Rory's relationship is his even if they don't completely understand or share excitement about something, they still cheer each other on with whatever makes them happy. And the times they are disappointed in themselves, the other is there still cheering.

@@SaundersBoy so this proves that Rory (and don't forget Paris) are more sensible than Madeline and Louise but it's not like they corrupted Rory or Paris. it is really weird that Rory is seen as sooooooo great just bc she's shy (honestly this is true to life: people often see extroverts as "bad" and introverts as "good" which is annoying and this is why Rory and many people for that matter end up insufferable!). idk why Lorelai thought they'd corrupt her or something considering she didn't join them. granted when i was 16 i wasnt innocent but i was smart enough to know not to go off w/ strangers! i feel like most girls that age are a mix of the characters: most ppl have many aspects of their personalities. it's not black and white.

They could’ve left without them. Madeline and Louise knew what they were doing as they done it before. They had no intention at all wanting to stay at the concert. Teenage girls are known for hooking up with guys older than them.

Thats not something to be condoned. If any harm came to those girls, Lorelai would be held responsible because they were in her care since she took them. Their parents would blame her and probably take legal action since the US is a 'lets sue someone for sneezing the wrong way' country. Not to mention that Lorelai used to be like that, which is how she got pregnant at 16. She knows what she is talking about and thus would never allow Rory or any teenage girl she knows to make the same mistake.
