I saw Rory 3 times, the first time when I was only 13. I'm 63 now and have seen hundreds of bands, many world renowned names. None come close to those three Gallagher gigs. Watching footage now is a mixture of ongoing awe and gut wrenching sadness. Hendrix was right when he said Rory was the best guitarist in the world. Great showman too. Once at Newcastle, the support failed to turn up and Rory played from 7.30pm till 10pm. Nothing compares!

I remember when I ordered Live Taste Album import as curiousity. I was totaly surprise of Rory's lead guitar. Despite that Sugar Mama's was cut in the middle of solo at end of side A and restart on B . I did not knew that Sinner boy was played at the time of Taste, as I first listened on his 1st LP . I'm probably not wrong saying that Rory is on the top lead guitar gap on that time, unfortunatly underrated. For me, Hands up, is his best guitar solo. I remeber when i played that at high school radio loundge, someone who was playing guitar came at me asking who the hell is he? Thanks Rory for all your good music dedicated to us. R.I.P

Ex- ce - Llenteeee cette performance! alors déjà... Quand j'écoute le 1er album de Rory [1971] en vinyle, je m'éclate sur Sinner Boy! J'adore ce titre!!! Vraiment bluesie rock hard rock mais la! Ce Live est juste Incroyable... Je suis toujours Bluffer quand je le regarde!! Il dechirer sur scène Rory!! 🎸en plus d'être simple, beau et avait l'air super cool! Comme quoi on a pas besoin d'avoir une voix à la Axl Rose à 4 ou 5 octaves! [Rose à une superbe voix! mais il manque quelque chose de la matière dans ses lives bon évidemment c'est plus du hard, heavy metal!] Mais la Juste quelques bons accords de bons riffs, une bonne voix, une bonne oreille musicale et t'arrive à tout! RORY nous la démontré! On voit que Rory Gallagher etait passionné de musique blues rock southern il a ecrit de bons morceaux accrocheur pour moi cest un génie du rock! J'en veux pleins d'autres de ces albums comme top priority Against the Grain, Fresh Evidence, Blueprint que jaime beaucoup franchement quel fan de Rory gallagher n'aime pas un de ses albums! Ce type était une icône! On fait beaucoup d'éloges sur certains artistes alors que nombres d'entre eux n'avaient pas autant de talent que Rory! [Je trouve!] de plus même ses vinyle sont plutôt abordable, évidemment sa dépend de la réédition remasteriser ou pas etc il me faut absolument un Live aussi! Les meilleurs artistes font les meilleurs lives! RIP Genius Of Blues rock and Southern rock ! Encore un point: Rory Gallagher avait une réel ressemblance avec l'acteur John Cusack!

It's 2024, and in my eyes and ears music as we know it is basically finished. We all bow down at the altar of artists like Taylor Swift who are surrounded by teams of song writers who produce songs by formulae, while real musical talent is dispensed with. Rory Gallagher had genius in his fingers, he should be put on a podium above the so called superstars of today and its basically a crime that he isn't.
