Frimpong is allright, but I think Dalot is taking big steps, was very good this season. With a good winger in front of him, and better game time management, I think Dalot is worth going for. He also has fantastic mentality.

I don't get the frimpong! We have dalot, he is more than capable of putting in a good performance defensively and attacking. And he is fit most of the season. So not a position I would invest the money it takes to sign frimpong. Since we are low on money, sell wan bissaka and get a cheap young right back that can develop next to dalot. Dalot has captain written all over him. And then invest in the awful midfield we have

We needed a LB so badly because we got 2 injury-prone players there and Mark decides not to get a L.B and instead goes for Frimpong who isn't even a R.B ? His ball knowledge is appalling sometimes. Frimpong plays as a RWB in a 3 CBs system for Bayern and plays as RW for Dutch. He also left out our best and most consistent player in Dalot to stay on the bench. Lmao

Neverkusen have promised Alonso they will not sell key players, Frimpong is one of those key players... Its much more realistic to get Dumfries or Pavard than Frimpong... However, Dalot is adequate for now... It's when his injured that's the issue.. Livramento or Lamptey are better options.. Mainoo is definitely not a holding/defensive mid, it thought that had been realised by everyone now 😂, we know that’s not where he is at his best. A midfielder who is that should be absolute number 1 priority for this window. Also we aren’t going to do this all in one go so again we have to prioritise, Dalot is definitely good enough as our number 1 right back and for next season keep AWB as back up, use that money elsewhere

I love the idea of frimpong at united, but im unsure if he’d fit ten-hag ball. He’s definitely more of a wingback/winger and we haven’t been able to play out from the back at hardly all this year. I like Geertruida for that spot as a back up for dalot and he can also play cb.

I’m sorry but Goldbridge does not know how to build a team. Frimpong, Todibo, Martinez in a back 4 absolutely honks. Todibo is terrible in the air, winning only 43% of his aerial duals this season. Frimpong is effectively a winger and only won around 12% of his aerial duals this season. One ball over the top and that back line is cooked, and Shaw would probably get injured just looking at it.

Ederson is a good player but not the profile we need. We need to raise the physical ceiling of our midfield. Amadou Onana, Hjulmand, Fofana are all amazing. Only player I would make an exception for is Joao Neves. Mark has clearly only watched Ederson once and reckons he’s the next Roy Keane. Spoiler alert, he’s not. He’ll cook elsewhere but not what United need at this moment.

Keeping Shaw means if Martinez gets hurt then United will have a back line for 70% of matches without a LB again with a new RCB and Maguire in middle. LB is realistically the biggest priority over any other role sans maybe CDM. And maybe unpopular opinion but I'm not convinced Frimpong will transition quickly to PL off ball physically. Think he will take time and Dalot more physical player. Plus you have 2 RBs and 0 LBs actually able to take the field.

Ademola lookman,hojlund,michael olise and bruno just behind them for me..i don't care what changes man united make in the defense and midfield..our problem in recent seasons has been about our forwards not being clinical,technical,hardworking and intelligent enough..say what you will about bruno but he more than creates enough chances in the games he starts but more often than not our fowards have poor positioning,awareness and the technical ability to tuck them away
