Also challenged, mobility & legally blind. My best friend bought me the mono-pigment set from Rosa’s almost 2 years ago as I began learning western watercolor after 10yrs doing traditional Chinese painting & calligraphy. I’ve since got MANY more Rosa’s, White Knights and some other professional brands. I’ve become addicted to pigments and wanted to make my own, but I’m unable to mull strongly enough, SO…I get the pigments, make the binder myself, make recipes, my friend comes over and mulls and we split the handmade paints. Oh that’s wonderful! I’m fascinated with paint pigments too! I have a spreadsheet of what pigments are in each of my paints, but I have yet to get into the world of making paint. It’s so nice to have someone to enjoy paints with! Mom and I began learning to watercolor together a couple years ago.
