I feel that way about so, so many things these days. Not just with history but basic social human decency and work ethic. I honestly think we may have somehow shifted onto a different time continuum. Don’t know when it happened, I’d say at some point between 2001 and “now”. CERN openly states that they have been trying to open portals and something about creating black holes. Mandela Effect is absolutely a thing, people aren’t the same at all, even family.

My uncle was a Confederate general Robert Augustus Toombs. My family Scott, Irish, and Cherokee. They immigrated to Georgia in the 1600s. The poor didn't own slaves, or benefit from the ACW. In all reality everything from ATL to Savannah was burned down. There was definitely black slave owners Jekyll Island actually has a display and history tour on the island/beach. That's where they got off the ship. My tribe, and all tribes enslaved. Jesus was sold for 30 pieces of silver. The Irish were so poor, they were treated terribly by other europeans. All 4 of my grandparents are part Cherokee. The Cherokee tribe helped the IRA in the 80s, they also donated to Ireland during the great famine. The Irish had to live like the natives in the same areas treated the same so they built a strong bond. If you ever heard of a paddy wagon it's called that because they would haul Irish to jail/prison in them. Every culture has had good times a bad, has been the aggressor and victim, at some point in history depending on who's telling the history. We should only take responsibility for our own actions.

Yup. They took control of the fed government after the civil war (outside/foreign owners aka england/europe). The threat to their puppeting control was the people. They could disrupt everything with amendments. So they needed to make sure the people would never unite enough to get a 3/4ths vote on an amendment. Best way to do that is to create a binary division. That keeps us from controlling who the president is (easy to play both sides when both sides are spread wide and not closely united), and that especially makes sure the people can never unite together to disempower the feds through amendments to prevent the hi-jacking of the country on behalf of foreign interests. from then on the USA became a thug/goon/bank vault for european interests and fighting/funding all their wars for them. They are terrified we'll wake up and realize our "allies" are NOT our allies and enver have been. That reckoning terrifies them. that's the modern crisis with trump and the internet awakening.

Rosa parks was an activist. We have just created a narrative where Rosa park was just riding the bus and decided she didn’t want to sit in the back. In reality she was an activist and the bus action was planned. Not that it wasn’t important or I disagree with the outcome, because I don’t. I think Rosa Parks was a force for change and that change was good and necessary. I’m just pointing out that we create narratives and they aren’t always factual.
