Lyrics are by San Juan De la Cruz, a 16th Century mystic who was imprisoned for trying to reform an order of the church when he wrote this. In "Even though it is by night" , the song is about reaching out for that eternal fountain of light when one's soul is in darkness. It is clearly about finding God or godliness in everything. but religious connotations aside, it has such beautiful poetic lyrics with very vivid imagery. It's a track in her Los Angeles album. Toward the end of the video she is seen walking through the front gates of the local public cemetery of Sant Esteve Sesrovires, her home town.
