My dear friend. One of the wisest and deepest, and most loving people I've ever been blessed to know. And a true survivor, embued with the kind of gritty soul and inner strength that can't be faked. When asked about how it feels to be getting older, she often quotes her mother, the late Nancy Strinfellow: "I'd rather be over the hill than up against the wall." Or, to quote another of her muses, Mehitabel the Cat: "There's a dance in the old dame yet."
