Made a remix of this fabulous theme on piano! Main change is the time signature ( so more of a ragtime than waltz feel ( hence the title)). Hope you like it!

“…But to explain that, be need to rewind a bit. You see, The concept for Super Mario Galaxy's gameplay originated from ideas taken from Super Mario 128, a technology demonstration shown at Nintendo Space World in 2000 to exemplify the processing power of the GameCube. This reminds me of a scene in the Simpsons where mr burns is hosting a party. He forces the orchestra, which is playing a waltz, to play it in 4/4 instead of 3/4. This ends up tripping everyone up, myself included. Funny how the most average time signature can sound disjointed in specific context!

ahh yes, the Mushroom kingdom war of 1925. Bowser recently discovered Hypnosis and used it to conker Sarasaland. Peach thinking Daisy was a traitor declared war. Luigi who happened to be their on a date with Daisy also got hypnotised. When general Mario found Luigi to be on Daisy's side he thought that he was blinded by the love for Daisy. After a gruesome battle in the Egyptian cave system Luigi was taken hostage and was quickly taken to Rosalina's Observatory for interogation. Just when lutenant Lubba figured out he was just hypnotised Bowser attacked in an attempt to keep that information secret. Many Luma's lost their lives but the info. fortunately got to general Mario in time. Mario used a Blue Shell power-up to go undercover on Bowser's airship because that was his only way out. Mario now being stuck on Bowser's airship had to watch in terror to see the Flower Kingdom and Bean-Bean Kingdom be conkered as well. The Mushroom Kingdom surrounded by hypnotised kings, queens and leaders had no choice to surrender. This lead to the independance of DK Island, Yoshi's Island and even Pi'llo Island

The left hand plays 4/4 though, as far as I hear. And the right hand plays lots of notes in swing rhythm and quarter dotted notes, which throws one off. I think it's a genius, the way it's used for this 4/4 conversion.
