I am immensely satisfied with the sounds of the performance of everyone involved in this recording: soprano, conductor, instrumentalists and choir! It is from this opera that comes what I consider the most touching and intimate organ music - and here, conducted under the sensitivity of the late Maestro Giuseppe Sinopoli, it turned out to be perfect, authentic and sincere. I don't know why it took me so many years to allow myself to hear it - anyway... everything has its time. What a joy!
