Ro should take creative reign and make her own gingerbread house out of scratch. Decide on a layout, make her own gingerbread sides, make the gummies, make her own icing, use fondant, etc. and then compare THAT one to the $1000 house.

The best gingerbread house I made was the one I made from scratch. The cookie was actually good, the frosting was yummy (not too sweet) and I stuck to the traditional candies (I just used more). I did that 1 year... it was so much work but was so fun! My boyfriend is coming home for Christmas, I think we should build one :) (thanks for the idea Ro).
