Saw the whole show last night in Aberdeen, Scotland and it was sublime. The man has an incredible vocal range and is a superb "Piano Man". Add to that, an incredible band. I had to hold back tears on many of his renditions. Just sooo good.

Billy only had a back-up singer hit the high notes for him back in the 80s when he was a smoker and when he performed the song in its original key. He later gave up smoking and for the past 20 years or so, he has sung the whole song himself, albeit having dropped the key a little, but so has Elio too.

Wow. I don't have a problem with criticism and i respect your opinion, but to say that he overestimates himself is way off the mark. His Facebook page is not run by him either. Having seen him perform many, many times, I am blown away by his talent. His musicality is second to none, alongside the rest of the band. Like Billy, Elio started out as a hugely talented classical pianist, but once he discovered the music of Billy Joel, his music career took a turn (even whilst still at secondary school, taught by the most nurturing, wonderful music teacher). You only need to look at his sell out tours that have, this year, visited far larger venues with people returning again and again to see Elio and the band. Only last week we did an 800 mile round trip to see them in Dublin.
