Hayden's fighting skills are still eye popping. He brought proper gravitas to his recent characterizations of Anakin, both in Kenobi and Ahsoka. As well, Rosario is such a good live action grownup Ahsoka. Loved this interview.

Great interview. These two are fantastic Star Wars actors/characters. It is so heartwarming to see how happy and invested they are in Star Wars. Obviously good friends too. Very engaging and come across as knowledgeable about Star Wars in a proper fan way. Just great. Never mind the worlds between, this is worlds apart from the interviews from The Acolyte recently. Here they love being part of genuine Star Wars and well the other, they are being paid, they don’t really know Star Wars and consequently don’t come across as glad to be part of it. Rosario & Hayden get it and respect it. It’s great to see. If only the Acolyte director/cast had the same love & respect for the galaxy far, far away. This was such a pleasure to watch.

What a great interview with so many excellent questions from the interviewer! It really surprises me that more people haven't seen this already. I really loved the Ahsoka series, personally this is Hayden Christensen's best performance as Anakin; the way he brings to life the gentleness of Skywalker's Anakin and the darkness of Vader, along with the wisdom of someone who has faced and accepted the dark side of him. Hayden brought Vader and Anakin together perfectly!!! 😎👍🎬

Summary: - Rosario Dawson and Hayden Christensen discuss filming scenes for the new Star Wars series Ahsoka. They had great fun working with Dave Filoni as writer/director. - Dawson plays the titular character Ahsoka Tano. She enjoyed exploring Ahsoka finding more "lightness" and confidence after making peace with her past. - Christensen returns as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. Rosario is so deserving of getting to be part of Star Wars. Hayden is the goat, only second to Mark. So many actors don't understand Star Wars is the greatest IP in the worl, it should be handled with respect.

I always rethink... just HOW many days do episodes 2 and 3 of the prequels take place over? Anakin was I guess just REALLY stressed out those one-two weeks, one set for each film, and he's a bit more relatively calm, less stressed out, more mature once he meets Ahsoka, and also prior to breaking away from her before heading back to Coruscant, learning of Padme's pregnancy. Having a little sister calmed him down a bit and reminded him of perspective.

Anakin Skywalker had a mentor-like relationship with Ahsoka Tano, as her Jedi master. Some key points about their relationship: - Anakin trained Ahsoka during the Clone Wars, as depicted in the animated series. - Hayden Christensen sought to honor the thoroughly developed relationship between the characters from Clone Wars. - Anakin takes on more of a wise, confident presence as Ahsoka's mentor in Ahsoka, compared to his emotions in the prequels. - Their confrontation in the World Between Worlds allows them to directly acknowledge their full shared history in a way not possible elsewhere. - Anakin wants to give Ahsoka guidance as her mentor, helping her evolve even further and make more peace with her past. - Their intense lightsaber duel references Ahsoka's reluctance to fight him, as she knows him so well as her master who trained her. - Anakin provides Ahsoka an important lesson during their confrontation that visibly shifts her to seeming lighter and more at peace. Here is a summary of the parts relating to actress Ariana Greenblatt: - Greenblatt plays a younger version of Ahsoka Tano in flashback scenes in Ahsoka. - Rosario Dawson (who plays the older Ahsoka) says Greenblatt absolutely owned the role of the younger Ahsoka. - Dawson and Hayden Christensen would rehearse and spend time together on set, including Greenblatt. This allowed Dawson to pass on guidance to Greenblatt. - Greenblatt was able to observe Dawson's portrayal of the older Ahsoka in order to portray younger Ahsoka's movements and style. - Dawson appreciated getting to see Greenblatt "take off" with portraying Ahsoka after learning from Dawson, continuing to spread Ahsoka's story to the next generation. - Their rehearsals together helped Greenblatt seamlessly portray how the character evolved from the younger to older versions. - Dawson praised Greenblatt as an incredibly talented young actress for her brilliant performance as young Ahsoka Tano. So in summary, Greenblatt stepped into the role of a younger Ahsoka after learning from Dawson's portrayal, and Dawson was impressed by Greenblatt's ability to perfectly embody the younger version of this iconic character.
