Why are there so many translations for the Fatima prayer? Which one is the correct one?

Hello, Sir, good question. This is the most commonly used version globally in my experience, having prayed it in Latin in many countries. (I've been to 13 so far and prayed it in Fatima, Lourdes, etc.) In Rome, for example, center of the Church & source of the Latin language, I prayed the Rosary thousands of times with people and never heard anyone use a Latin version other than this one there. The Fatima Prayer is unusual since the official / original version is not Latin, but a Portuguese dialect. In Latin, the adjective for "my" is usually understood and not spoken or written though it often is in English. That is just one example of how this version differs from others and seems like a more naturally Latin translation. Feel free to use other versions if you like them better, but this is the standard in my experience. I hope that helps. God bless!

@@corfidelis ok, I learned the translation I got from Pocket Guide to the Rosary by Ascension. I'll be saying this version when I pray along with you. Also, is there any chance you could make a video on how to pray the Devine Mercy Chalet? There's plenty of videos online on how to pray it in latin, but they leave out alot of the prayers, like "You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us. O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!" And "Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion--inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself." I would appreciate if you could help me to pray these parts in latin.

I've considered making one, but there is no official version of the Divine Mercy Chaplet in Latin, since it is a relatively recent thing in the life of the Church and the original was revealed in Polish. I will continue to ponder the idea and will likely make one soon for you. Thanks again for the suggestions!
