Beautiful project! I’m fairly new to these amazing shaker die cut boxes and I’d love to know what brand foam is the best, adhesive backed/ no adhesive, 2mm or 4mm and where to purchase? I like how thick and sturdy your project is and want to have the same results. Thanks & blessings, Laurie.

Hi Laurie, I purchase the foam from an Etsy seller but unfortunately they are no longer there. I will say that I use 2mm-5mm foam. You can find 5mm foam at hobby lobby and Michaels, they are sold my single sheets. Depending on what shaker elements you use (sequence, seed beads, charms, etc) will determine the thickness of foam you will need. I mostly use 3mm and 5mm. 5mm foam allows me to use bulkier shaker pieces whereas 3mm im limited to a bit flatter type of shaker pieces. I highly recommend to use liquid adhesive, please do not use double sided tape when making shakers, over time the adhesive will fall apart. I normally use liquid silicon glue I get from my local 99cent only store and recently have started to use Bearly Art Glue and so far its been amazing, I purchased mine from spellbinders because it came with the narrow tip here is the link for that adhesive shrsl.com/3l0wx If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask, im happy to help. Good morning Rosa, the shaker box is adorable and the paper just makes it so summer. Your seed bead storage is ideal, where did you find the storage container for them? Tfs
