Beautiful job, Jerry. Kudos to you for going the extra 2 miles to get the bow up to snuff. That fiddle turned out so nice that it's kind of a shame that it won't get played much, if at all.

That fiddle sounds great deep nice tone and from what you played I would of not known you are not a fiddle player. Great job on that violin and love the bow and the pearl in the frog repair you did.!

Would have loved to meet up with Jerry all those many years ago to learn just a small portion of his knowledge of repairing the stringed instruments! Not that we're all that old but just a bit of his wisdom would go a very long way!

You may already know this, and I know that you need to have a clear voice for recording, but pearl dust will collapse your lung if you breath it. I know you wore a mask on the 1900s Gibson Mandolin pearl repair, but you should ware one every time you cut or sand pearl.
