Whoa. That's a coincidence. Oddly enough, I'm watching this on Sept 10, 2020. 👍 My daughters birthday is the 11th. She'll be celebrating what would be her 8th birthday with the rest of the angels👼 in heaven. Its been 6 years and I miss her dearly. ❤️

Prayers for you. I lost a step daughter in 1989 who was 7 at that time. I'm still not over it (brain tumor under her brain stem). Lost my wife almost 7 yrs ago, she fought a myriad of illnesses for 7 long yrs. My heart & prayers go out to you.

Jerry, that guitar is beautiful inside and out and it sounds divine. You are so proud of it. If it was me, I'd tell the customer "sorry bud but this one is mine" but I know you won't do that. You have too much integrity built in under your skin. Awesome.

Well Jerry, I have a couple of comments and one question. The question first...I didn't see a truss rod cover installed at the peghead. Did I miss something? Now the comments: WOW, what a beautiful instrument!!!! I could not believe the sustain on that guitar when Leon was playing it. That is incredible. My second comment is that if I weren't in my 70s and seeing that I may not have too many years left to play, I would be asking you if you would take a deposit and build me a guitar. You are an artist. Thank you so much for sharing the build with us. I have enjoyed it so much.

Wow! What a stunning instrument. 👍😊. You have every right to be excited and proud of your work, as they say 'you only get out, what you put in.' The love and passion for your craft, can be heard in the wonderful tones of that guitar. The sustain is 'nuts' 🤗 the instrument carries on 'ringing' forever after the player has stopped and I noticed everyone who played it, had to damp the strings when they finished, to stop it playing on into the conversation.😊 Truly a magnificent piece of the 'luthiers' art. Best wishes, Rich. In Oxford UK.

Nobody's going to read this after four years, but I just need to say, I love all the design choices you made on this guitar. I love the padauk, the inlays, the clean grain of the spruce top, everything. It's a stunning instrument. There's a word for the glimmer that wood makes in sunlight - chatoyance.

Dear sir, don't worry about technical issues with your videos: you're a luthier and a musician, not a movie tech and your films are well done enough to exhibit what has to be seen! Unless you hire the complete Steven Spielberg's prod team (the famous "CONSTANT C' Co!) you're way above the C level and are absolutely right in spending more time in guitarmaking than in video editing. But enough of these words, let's talk guitar, and your last baby is absolutely gorgeous and brilliantly sounding! You can be so proud of such an artwork.

I never could remember which way to move the saddle to intonate until I watched one of your other vids last night. I'll never forget that flat=far & sharp=short now. Thank you, Jerry! You do not know how much I appreciate that. 👍 When I swapped the tuners on my Silvertone Strat clone, I found that they had drilled for modern tuners, yet they actually used vintage-sized tuners so the bushing rattled around in the holes BIG TIME. I was pretty surprised to find that.
