Episode I of 'A Guided Tour Series', heritage sites in Roscommon. In this video, Dr. Kieran O'Conor from NUI Galway gives a tour of the fantastic ruin of Roscommon Castle explaining its history and usage since the 12th century.

Kieran was my senior lecturer in NUIG and what a man, he tought me to look and question everything, including him, and as a result, I have delved a bit more into this wonderful place. We have met here a few times but we never had enough time to play against each other in the spirit of learning.
