This makes feel less like an etude and more like a song! I'm curious what setup do you use?
@alexeysclarinet910911 ай бұрын
I don't really remember, but those days I played either BD5 or M13. Based on how high register sounds, I suppose it is rather BD5

I'm also curious and was going to comment this, what reed strength do you think you were using? vs. What are you using now?@@alexeysclarinet9109

I hope to be able to play this like how you play it! How long did this take you to learn at this speed? I need to learn it for all region and im hoping to make a good spot

Thanks! Honestly, I think I play it rather slow, but I have been playing clarinet for more than 30 years. I was graduated from conservatory and taught children for about 10 years. Last 8 years I play for fun and practice just occasionally but my body still remembers a bit how to play lol. So I believe with good practise you will play this much faster than me!

@romanvalenciano5928 thank you. I am not sure about purchasing backing tracks, but there is a KZbin that has these Rose etudes accompaniments, it's @accompanimentlibrary4993

how do you play for so long in one breath?
@alexeysclarinet91095 ай бұрын
Was this long? I think it was about 25 seconds. I dunno. I used to practice a lot of long tones. Also I did Arnold Jacobs breathing exercices like here: www.hsutrumpets.com/arnold-jacobs-breathing-exercises/ Maybe my lung capacity was increased by doing so. Hope, this can help.
