ROSE BACKROAD Ekar REVIEW

This video is a quick review of my Rose Backroad with the Campagnolo Ekar drive train. It is the 2021 model year and I bought it around September 2022. MSRP was ca. 5600 EUR while a similar version runs you back about 4500 EUR (although with slightly different wheels & finishing kit).
Here a list of the included components:
- Lights: Decathlon Elops ST 920 with 40 Lux
- Mudguards: SKS Race Blace 32mm
- Saddle Bag: Attacus (not sold anymore)
- Mini Pump: Lezyne Pocket Drive
- Bottle Cage: Cheapest "Elite" in black
- Drivetrain: Campagnolo Ekar 1x13 (older version)
- Paddles: Shimano SPD 520 (I think)
- Head unit: Wahoo ELEMNT BOLT V2
- Saddle: Ryet 3D printed in 143mm in just 160g
- Handlebar: Ritckey Comp Butano in 40cm

Great video and great bike! I'm planning to buy a Rose Backroad AL, size 51, and I'm 172 cm tall and 79 inseam. Do you think it would be the right size for me? Thanks in advance!

Hey Catalinpth, glad you liked it! The Backroad AL has a little bit of a more relaxed geometry so I am pretty sure the size 51 should fit well. For reference I am 172 too and went with the 53 on the carbon version. Though I would not stress too much about it - both 51 and one size larger should fit you well. It comes down to what riding characteristics you want. Hope this helps!
