ReaderWriterAddict :I don’t think they would do a tv series it would be too risky and it might not be as popular to enough to do all the books adapted into it since mortal instruments did a tv show directly after the first movie. Vampire academy could just be avoiding releasing more movies based on the other Books in the Same series at the same time as movies based on books from a different series I mean in 2014 and 2015 we still had hunger games and divergent being popular. Even in 2016 we still had divergent rolling out movies,They could still do more vampire academy despite the first not doing well it just might take them longer to do it since they’d need to earn enough money and Mix it with the money they already got from their first campaign to do another movie they could just be avoiding trying to compete with popular movies.

I melt with this couple, I love actors that pull you in and you are left wanting more. I pray the movie gods reconsider n someone brings in frostbite. natalie morgan ;they had frostbite planned but they need enough fans to support them doing the second movie so they are clearly just avoiding releasing movies while book franchises are still popular since in 2014 we had mockingjay part 1&divergent,2015 we had mocking jay part 2 and insurgent,2016 was Allegiant. And vampire academy started rolling out movies when we had hunger games still be popular enough to roll out movies and divergent just starting,then in 2015 and 2016 divergent was ending with the last 2 movies vampire academy could just be waiting until there’s no book adaptations with a ton of books that are popular enough to get all the books adapted so they don’t run into the same problem as they did with movie 1.its probably just not a smart idea to start movies when other book adaptions are still popular enough even divergent was stupid enough to start releasing movies in 2014&2015 when hunger games was still releasing its last two movies when divergent should have waited until hunger games was completely over with zero more movies to release then vampire academy should have waited until divergent was completely with zero more movies to release. Which it seems like vampire academy was smart to do by avoiding a 2015 release date for movie 2 of vampire academy’s second movie frostbite. They could still do frostbite if they just release it and develop it when other movie franchise based on books aren’t rolling out any more movies it would gain more fans and easier to sell a lot more tickets since it would be competing with all the non popular movies that aren’t even popular to begin with and IAm talking about the movies that are just there for people to watch when there’s nothing else to watch there are just some movie franchise that take longer to finish with all movies because they avoid releasing movies during popular movies based on books. Iam 100% sure they could still finished a lot of the movie franchises that flopped they did with divergent and divergent kind of flopped just as bad vampire academy for some fans yet they still let it continue with all books turned into movies. All the others that are unfinished could just be waiting until someone else needs a project idea I mean look at Harry Potter 1-3 vs Harry Potter 4-8 they aren’t created by the same people one person starts the franchise then someone else finishes it when someone else needs an idea, Twilight,Hunger Games,The Chronicles of narnia...etc... some movie franchises probably just take more than one same person creating all of the movies vampire academy is probably up there for more than one same person creating all the movies. It is possible to finish movie franchises that aren’t as good as other it just takes more than one person to make all the movies.

I can't wait for Frostbite, although they might have messed this dream scene up. Rose is learning to use the stake and when she has the theory, Dimitri let's her stake some dummies (this is after a fight with her mother) when she has staked a couple and done it right she asks to stake one that has the same hair as her mother and Dimitri replies with "I don't think that would be healthy."

Tamara Sojanovic there was an operation thing going on where you would donate them money but I'm not sure if they succeeded in the amount they needed. It could have have been like Veronica Mars were they got 10 million dollars from their fans for the Veronica Mars movie or they might have only got just enough or not enough. To be perfectly honest, I want there to be a Frostbite movie as well, just so I can see my fantasies come to life and the things I mentioned above about everything wrong with the movie aren't big plot changes they just annoyed me. So they shouldn't have any trouble making a second movie. However even if they have the funds to make Frostbite they might not have a production company willing to make it, so I guess we have to wait this one out. Although I don't want to see Mason die. I do want to see the actor they chose for Adrian.

But I love how she didn't make the story sound perfect and their love perfect like people usually do. I mentally yell At Rose in the books when I read because their love is so perfect, but their story isn't. I wrote about it on something as a reminder, and my friend read it and said it was stupid. I do wish they would make all the movies and mabye even another book, maybe called : The Return.... But. . . I reread these all the time and it pains me so much. Especially when Mason dies and Dimitri becomes Strigoi. It tears my heart.💔

Tori Vega :I feel like they will do a sequel it just might take longer since the last half of the series for books needs to be done as movies by someone who won’t give up on it. I mean look at the time frame between Maze runner the scorch trials and the death cure,then look at who did Harry Potter movies 1-3 and Harry Potter movies 4-8,hunger games series ,Divergent series,Twilight Saga,The Chronicles of narnia...etc... a lot of other franchises just might take a joint effort where one person starts the franchise then someone else finishes it like the others that went switch up who made the movies there could just be movie based on book series that are unfinished for movie franchises that are waiting for someone in the Movie world to need an idea and then that person could try a couple of sequels to the other ones that need them. Sometimes it takes movie franchises based on books to finish because they made to be made by the right person plus the world is unknown for reviving old ideas and then finishing the idea later on because it takes longer to think of a good storyline to try out. Espeically one that would be worthy of a Sequel to follow the first movie to a movie franchise based on a book series....etc... someone could still continue it one day so I wouldn’t lose hope

I get what you mean but roses whole world revolved around lissa. she protected her and put her first, but as the stories progressed rose learned that she doesn't always have to put lissa before her. lissa needs to do some things on her own and rose deserves her own happiness and choices.

Danila was definitely believable as dimitri! Zoey was also great as rose but I feel like they didn’t make her character sassy enough in the movie.

I agree I feel like they cast the right actors but wrote the characters wrong, Rose more than Dimitri and in doing so they also took away some of the depth their relationship has in the books through Zoey and Daniel's chemistry does manage to make of for some of that. Nothing make's up for the lack of sass and snarkiness in Rose nor the change in her motivation at some points of the story.
