BTW: there are gum rubber blocks that are made to clean off sand paper and sanding film; they work incredibly well and can quickly refresh clogged sand paper. The rubber blocks are self-sacrificing and basically act like a giant eraser - and there usually inexpensive.

The Reclaimed Heirloom uses cling wrap in a wad and gently presses the decoupage paper to keep it from tearing. Just something to try. You r so talented…love this gorgeous piece.

It's a reverse bombe (pronounced like Bombay) small chest, but not very old. I had the longer 2 drawer version (purchased new in the mid-90's) until I downsized from a house to a condo. Interesting makeover.

Of course, Carla! I just had to look up this mix. It was - Emerald Green, Goblin Gray, Woodland Harbor, Blackboard, Golden Yellow. With that said, I’ve made it with other colors as well, I just mix until it creates some semblance of sage.

I REALLY hate custom work. If I do a custom piece it’s with the understanding that the client has almost no say in what happens to it 😂. It’s too stressful for me otherwise. So most of my pieces are just me having fun with things that I like. I started selling on marketplace, but if I’m being honest, am not a huge fan of it anymore. My area is amazing in that I get most of my items for free or next to nothing, but with that comes the downside of having to sell things for less as well. I don’t sell out of a store at all, even my favorite furniture store here sells their items for less than I do in marketplace and those people have to keep their booths full and pay a booth rent. I’ve been really enjoying Etsy at the moment, but I think eventually I’d prefer just creating my own website and selling from there. I do want to do a video about all this in the future- you’re not the only one who has expressed interest, but I want to make sure I’m giving the most information I can and I don’t think I’m there yet.

Hi, I learned front the lady front reclaimed heirloom, she uses a piece of plastic wrap to smooth down the decoupage paper, it works great, you should try it.
