Re: The new powder package looking so much bigger than the older one but actually only having a little more product - Like you showed, I learned it’s important to check the grams/oz/ml/etc. of a product because the packaging can always be so deceiving! Like I got a concealer that came in a super thick tube and it looked soooo much bigger than most of my other concealers. And before I bought it, tons of reviews said how big the tube was, so you got a ton of product for your money. And when I got it and saw how big it LOOKED, I thought the same too. But then as soon as I looked at the ml/oz, I was so shocked! It was actually LESS product than a lot of my other concealers…ones that were in WAY smaller tubes! It’s crazy how some packaging can make it LOOK like you’re getting a lot of product, but really you’re getting the same as usual, sometimes less, and sometimes more. So, just like you did, it’s always important to check how much actual product you’re getting! 🙌

Hi Lindsey, I just found your channel and I love your advice. I ordered the RMS Hydra setting powder and it is supposed to arrive today. I am glad that I saw your review and will continue to use my Pat McGrath under eye powder and use the new RMS powder for the rest of my face. It will be interesting to.see how it works on me as I have dry mature skin.

Update: I have used it for three days and really like it, no problems at all. For me it is a really good product.

Hi Lindsey, thanks for your video. I appreciate this review😊 I picked this powder up and I apply it with a powder puff (a different one from what it came with) all over the face, on top of the rms foundation and the other day on the new elf satin foundation. I literally pressed it in everywhere and I thought it was very blurring. I got a bit more oily skin. I was happy with the performance, looked smoothing but underneath my eyes it wasn‘t performing the best either but it wasn’t bad. My oils didn’t come through much. But one thing that I only realised during the second application was that this powder has shimmer particles🤔😦… I have very bright studio lights and was confused as into why my forehead all of a sudden was shimmery all over. I inspected the powder then and realised it must have these light reflecting particles. I have the shade light too… can you see those as well? I would have loved this powder a lot more without them.
