Rose I've watch every single one of you and Mr Pana videos on KZbin,and I'm very interested on native and tribal people,and I for one,am so proub to be tribal and native mizo just like you,when you said your proud of your culture,proud to be native American,the real owner of your land,and proud to have the great Chief Sitting Bull around your neck,I almost felt emotional coz I read a lot about your history and I totally understand you don't want people to call you sap or white woman,I could relate to that coz even though we are Indian by nationality,but we are mizo tribal people and I am proud of that,so proud of it,and I know how your people suffered many horrible atrocities in the hands of European settlers,they tried and kick you out of your own land and still they treated you like foreigners and they cut down your trees,desecrated mother earth and tried to wipe your history from the face of earth,but know that you are not alone and please know that this is your land,your home,consider us your people,your own native brothers and sisters,here.. No one will poison your water,no one will desecrate your land and no one will discriminate you coz you are a part of this land,now your land,you are a part of us and a part of mizoram and all the nature and wildlife,my great great grandfather was also a great chieftain,I wish I could tell you more,I wish you all the happiness this world have to offer

This comment has touched my heart. You got it exactly right. I have had to fight my whole life to be accepted as a native American due to my light skin. Even my dad took a DNA test to prove I was his daughter when society said I was too pale to be his child. My mom never cheated on my dad and me and my brother had to prove through more dna tests and historical evidence that we did in fact come from the Cherokee and Sioux tribes. My brother is more dark skin and because of movie stereotypes by society many people think all native Americans are brown. This has made it truly impossible for those like me to be accepted by any group. We must fight hard to prove who we are while fighting the corruptions that bind us to have less rights because our documents say native American, and yet we still have to fight to practice our tribal ways. It is refreshing when people just accept us for who we are and allow us to be ourselves without making us explain why. My dad is a full blooded Cherokee and Sioux my mom is 75% shashawnee and chyanne. Mom had a grandmother who was German. My great grandmother. That is all the German blood in us. 12% in me and 25% in mom. The struggle is real for those who have pale skin. We have to prove to everyone always that we are who we say we are meanwhile our families are watching to make sure we never accept being anything else because that would bring them great shame on our behalf. My father passed away last year and to honor his spirit I can not allow myself to be labled European or anything else outside of tribal. He was so happy I married a mizo man. He was proud to have a mizo son. We love our white, black, and Asian brothers as we love all peoples but we stand clear on who we are. We had to fight many generations to hold and keep our DNA alive. If I don't say who I am I would dishonor my DNA.

And let me add one thing, it is a true honor to walk with the mizo people. A true pure tribe who has kept their traditions and culture safe. I am proud to be accepted as a mizo wife and teach my child both Mizo and Cherokee ways. We are brother tribes and have very similar values and ways. I heard the stories of the old ways by my elders and I never understood fully until I came to mizoram and seen what tribal looks like when it hasn't been ripped apart and forced to be a secret. It is truly an honor to be accepted by all of you and our neighbor tribes brothers. I love all of you even those who dont like me I love them too. I love all but trust few. My husband is a good man like my dad was. It is a great honor to be among you on this land.

@@Rose_Pana_Fanai Yes exactly right,even when mizo people went to some parts of Indian states,we are discriminated by many people just because we look different or we have tribal blood,but that doesn't stop us from being who we are,even if I am to be born again,I would still choose to born as a mizo,and nowadays,its like all the media and the world is controlled by white men,they depict white men as the hero,the saviour and the superior race,and we are so foolishly led to believe that white men are superior and their culture influence the world,its so sad to see that white men are portrayed as the hero,the savior while in reality they are nothing but colonizers who massacred people whom they deemed lower race,even here in mizoram,we struggle at the borders of our land from people that are coming from Bangladesh,Assam and all the non mizo people,they tried to take our lands but we are tribal people,coming from a long line of brave warriors and we would never stop fighting,if they knew how the great chief Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse defeated General Custer at the battle of Little Big Horn,they would know better not to messed with Native Tribal People
