I'm surprised no network has picked up on the idea of doing a "Young Rose" Nyland series (like Young Sheldon) set in St. Olaf and acting out all the skits the writers of The Golden Girls imagined Rose went through before she moved to Miami.

OMG 😆 that’s an awesome idea!!!!! 💡 oh I would love love that! And have young Sophia, in Sicily, then in NY with Sal, and young Dorothy and Phil and Gloria. And eventually Stan would come on. Then young Dorothy with Kate and Michael, and Stan either there with a failed idea or hardly there at all. And then young Blanche with George and their children. And after a season or so, George would be written out, and then Blanche becomes the vibrant sexy siren Blanche that we all know and love! Oh that would be so awesome 👏 and amazing! They would have to take their time and really search high and low to find the right actresses to be our characters. I remember the actress they got to play young Dorothy during the run of the show,,,, OMG 😳!!! She was AMAZING as Dorothy, and even had Beatrice’s hand gestures and body language! Oh that show if written right would be a major hit! I would subscribe to what ever streaming service and/satellite cable to watch it! Oh I hope someone with the powers to make this happen is reading this and says we can do that!!! I for one would never miss an episode!!!🤘👍

Because Betty white is trying to make the others break character. Betty White came up with every Saint Olaf story on the fly! They were not scripted. So the girls react that way to keep from laughing. Hence why they put their face down or cover their face or mouth or just make an angry face to avoid showing they’re about to break.
