Extraordinarily thoughtful as ever. I appreciate the changing background vignettes that suit each video. One of my favourite rose scents is Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose. (Sorry if it's not one you work with). I wear it and I'm a manly man!

+Hyden Royce haha yes.. we like to swap what's on those shelves behind us for each video! Glad it's appreciated 👍 We like the Eau de Cartier range and do often work with this brand too. Goutte de Rose is lovely - quite crisp with citrus and sparkling with centifolia Rose essence. The Eau de Cartier range is made for both men and women to wear... so a good choice, even if you're a manly man 😂 !

This is Cliche but I love rose and oud blended together Jo Malone Velvet rose & oud for example hits me evrytime!!!!!!

lovely thoughtful video as usual! I don't tend to gravitate to rose scents in general but have become more intrigued by them! I have been dosing myself in the body shop's British rose and it is a sparkly light rose scent which I've enjoyed wearing over the summer , using it as you would a cologne, quite liberally! it is a really refreshing rose scent, not at all heavy or heady!

+naheed a thanks. Rose is such a classic ingredient, found in so many perfumes that it's hard to steer away from them completely - embrace the Rose scents, we say! The Body Shop do a variety of Rosey themed fragrances, and we think their British Rose smells really pretty.

+The Perfume Pros . yes definitely there are lots of scents containing rose and I do possess these. but when I think of a predominantly rose based scent I tend to think I won't like it. But definitely will be more open minded after this video!

I love goutte de rose by Cartier it's my favorite fragrance it's EDT I wish they had the EDP version it's sooooo lovely whenever I wear it people ask me what I'm wearing it's very different ... Thank you for these other recommendations love rose fragrances ❤️

+augustbaby281 Goutte de Rose would indeed be nice as an Eau de Parfum. You have to keep reapplying as it's quite light in the EDT version.

I typically loathe rose perfumes but I LOVE D.S & Durgha Rose Atlantic which I can smell the rose note. I also really like Atelier Rose Anomye. If Rose weren't in the name, I wouldn't have known it was part of the composition.

Great video!!! New subbie here! I am new to rose scents because in the past they give me a headache as a dominate note. However, I discovered Diptyque Lombre Dans L'eau and loving it. Any jammy rose scents that you could recommend?

my favorite rose scents are Cartier Goutte de Roses, Krizia's Time (which has only 3 notes rose, pimento and musk) Vivienne Westwood Boudoir which is a powdery almost bubble gum rose, Chloe Rose de Chloe,and Attar de Roses by Keiko Mercheri (holy grail rose scent)

+PrincessLeah187 xx We work a lot with Cartier and really love the Goutte de Rose. Georgina used to wear Boudoir when it first launched. That heliotrope & Rose combo gives that yummy surgery candy rose note 🍭 🌹

Beautiful video as always. I recently tried Red Roses by Jo Malone and it's increadibly gorgeous as well, kind of similar to Sa Majesté la Rose by Serge Lutens but more balanced, with a delightful bee's wax note underneath. Ce Soir ou Jamais is another one that I really want to try, as well as the recent Rose Pompon 🌹

Wonderful video. I've never heard of any of the fragrances mentioned. I'm excited to try something new. I feel like I own something similar to A Capella in Rose de Siwa by MDCI. Have you smelled that one? Was wondering if Dear Rose is different enough to track down a sample. My favorite rose if all time is Une Rose by Frederic Malle. Please keep the ingredient videos coming!

+Allistar Anglophelia we think A Capella might be a little more green than the Rose de Siwa perfume; although that feeling of delicacy and freshness of rose is similar. Une Rose by Frederic Malle is a nice choice for a classical Turkish Rose combined with an interesting animalic base.

+MissVioletPurple thanks. That Coach EDP we talk about is quite fruity with raspberry in the top as well as Rose in the heart. We also like Annick Goutal's Quel Amour fragrance for a fruity opening (cherry & pomegranate) combined with peonies and roses in the heart. Also check out Armani's Si, Jimmy Choo's Illicit Flower and Gucci Bamboo, which have all been popular fruity florals recently.

+Robert Ono We quite like the combination of Rose with pink pepper that you find in Dior's Amber Nuit; and the combination of aromatic geranium and sage with Rose in YSL's L'Homme Ultime. You often will find a blend of Rose in the heart of a masculine fragrance to give it a touch of elegant sensuality. Cartier's perfumer, Mathilde Laurent does it too in the very spicy Declaration d'un Soir scent.

Gals, Bulgarian rose, not a turkish one. Since Bulgaria is the biggest producer in the world of rose oil. check Rose Valley near Kazanlak, Bulgaria.

+Kate Shaw we love that American brand Bond No9 does something so British as a Harrods Rose fragrance! They use lots of white florals alongside Rose in this one, which give a fullness and sensuality to the Rose.

Yes, we like ingredient videos but you should mention male fragrances also. Too bad you didn't mention any rosy male scents. I'll mention a few I like. Obviously these aren't rose dominant as they're masculine: Habit Rouge Dress Code, Dior Homme Parfum, Tom Ford Noir, Dsquared Black Potion Royal. I've tried only one rose dominant male perfume and it was a disaster - Montale Black Aoud.
