Appreciate your take on the market. What do you see happening in the commercial market? As a side note, I think the shrinking prices are way worse than what the numbers show based on the high inflation we've been experiencing. I know that costs have doubled many things in the last 5 years, including building commercial properties. So scary to think your real estate is decreasing with high inflation.

Locally, the commercial market is mostly at a stand still. I think this is a big opportunity for investors as more commercial loan notes become due at these 7%+ interest rates. Appreciation was keeping up with inflation with double digit percentage appreciation 2 years in a row. But now prices are more or less stagnant and inflation doesn’t seem to have slowed down. Regardless of what the “official” inflation rate is, if we all look at our bank statements it becomes clear. Everything has gone up substantially.
