Pedantry incoming..... Because the blade gets wider towards the tip I'm pretty sure its a ramsfoot. Thats really nice, I definitely want one. Im assuming that this is the same maker as the Rough Ryder reserve, but a slightly more traditional design than a bunch of the weird stuff they put out.

It does look like a really nice quality knife. I have to admit when I heard you say Bourbon, my mind went straight to the biscuit ! So I was expecting it to have dark brown scales ( I should have looked at the thumbnail I suppose ) lol. I suspect it's named after that American whisky stuff which is pronounced Burban I think ( I could be wrong though ). But I dare say one of your US subs could clear that one up ! 🙂

Probably true but the American Bourbon County where Bourbon whiskey gets its name is after the French Bourbons. The county seat is Paris, even. Different accents is all.

@@SpecialEd_59 The Americans do pronounce some words differently without a doubt. I've never understood how they get " Edinburrow " From Edinburgh ( Burgh is Gaelic for Borough ( Burrer ), which is how repronounce it. Not sure why, but at least it has some logic behind it lol.

Knife of thee year, Brand of the year, customer service of the year. Love RoseCraft and use them as a benchmark for the quality you can get for $50-$55. Out of the 7-8 RC blades that I purchased online, only one knife didn't measure up and Andy replaced it, no questions asked!

Great video. I have this knife and as you say it is a beauty. I agree with you that it’s the knife of the year. The fit and finish on mine is flawless and after a strop is razor sharp. You have said everything I would have said about it. A brilliant knife for a UK EDC. Stay sharp my friend 👍🤩🇬🇧.

I really wish they stamped the bolster. Though i love mine. I liked the RC with the rose. Its the reason i bought my first Rosecraft. A spear or lambs foot would be awesome!

It's a great one for sure. I've been so impressed with their traditionals this year. My only nitpick is that dang sticker. Easy to remove and clean residue off but you can always see where it was. I need to try some polishing compound and see if it goes away completely.
