New to cycling and have decided it will be the last bit of kit to get. Currently, bike is out of control or bike has stopped due to user failure are the only two stats that seem relevant.😂

Myself and my husband are looking for a hill to practice up as we have the coast to coast coming up that has Hardknott pass included. You have done both? Is chimney bank a good one to practice up?
@BeardonaBike6 ай бұрын
I wouldn't want to climb it more than once in a day. In my opinion, Hardknott Pass is tougher than Chimney Bank. Both are challenging, but if you're looking for a steep climb, Chimney Bank is a good option. Climbing Hardknott also often includes riding up Wrynose Pass, which means you'll experience the descent through Hardknott's hairpins followed by another difficult ascent. Personally, I'd choose Hardknott for the full experience.. Good luck
