Happy you all got to see the ocean and play on the beach. Rose needs a cloth baby carrier. She could keep the baby close and give her arms rest. Maybe her Mom (or another Mom friend) could show her how to do a cloth baby wrap. As a new Mom I know sleep is hard as babies and toddlers wake often. Hugs Mama.
