I absolutely love you guys. I'm from Canada- I'm mixed race Chinese ukrainian! My mom immigrated to Canada and met my dad and then they got married and had me and my brother. But she didn't have time to teach me or my brother mandarin and truthfully we visited China a lot when we were younger and I could pick up the language really well in china versus here in Canada. I hope to live in China for a decade so I can actually speak the language of my ancestors! Much love from canada!

We have lots of local languages in Africa but English is the most common language. Those of us from Anglophone African countries, English is our lingua franca. That is the medium of instruction in school and all exams are written in English. So that is why she can speak pretty well thanks. Thanks

It could be 2 European languages and local/ mother tongue and a regional one. Because she's Ugandan she probably speaks Swahili which is the the regional language of East Africa as well.

All I can say is that thank you Rose for making your videos reasonably short, it becomes easy to watch them even if I have little time or little internet bundles. I'm from South Africa and in my country internet bundles are super expensive, so it's very interesting to find someone who is able to tell their love story in less than 15 minutes. This couple was literally unable to communicate, but they managed to get through and got along so well, today, couples get married have kids get into arguments which is a normal part of marriage get divorced a year later because they don't have good communication , i bet rose struggled a lot early on , but she managed and learned how to cope and make changes to fit in , and in the end her marriage blossomed, patience and willingness to make things work is key

I lived in Uganda for 2 years and loved it. My house was in Lubowa and my place of work was in Entebbe. I also supported a young man through high school and hoped he would go to college but that was not his plan. Wish you luck with this new project.
