LOL That should tell you how crazy my life has been lately 😅 Mosiac crochet is one of my favorites! I highly recommend Tinna's channel for beginners. That makeup bag is an ideal first project too! Absolutely loved the washcloths for kids! Those knit patterns are just amazing

So many great donations- washcloths and hair ties. Love the Ophelia talk's makeup bag. It's pretty easy, Rose you could make one. You purchase a plain makeup bag and sew the squares to the zipper on top. Unless you want to make your own lining. (I hate putting in a zipper-ugh!) She has a tutorial. Also, Tinna's tutorial on the Apache tears mosaic bag- is also good. Have a great weekend. 💜

Such nice donations! I love all the washcloth ideas 💜 Tinna has a series of how-to-do overlay mosaic videos - she is really good and lots of fun. Fiber Fox studios is another good channel to go to for overlay mosaic. I made a huge blanket last winter on my first attempt to do mosaic - it’s actually quite simple and I find it really fun.

Tinna teaches overlay mosaic crochet, and I learned from her. Her designs are fun and easy, but those bags are not an easy first-time mosaic because the counting is finicky. I have made three of them, and look awesome with variegated yarn around and around, the texture really stands out. I have made her AMMA and her Thule designs, and those are great first try pieces. It's all singles and doubles, easy-peasy, especially with Tinna's guidance. Check out her Beginner's Mosaic series, I think 4 videos? Hugs & love!

To learn overlay mosaic crochet check out Fiber Fox Studios KZbin channel. She uses relatively small designs and walks you through every stitch. Don't get tripped up by how she uses the hook to make the dc (just keep the stitches loose) - her tutorials help see how easy it is to work patterns. Then you can go anywhere else for the complex designs (which are not hard to work) - like Beba Blankets, and Tinna (Thor...).
