She misplayed turn 4, when she didnt play the land during her 2nd mainstep after she drew a land from casting Might of the Meek. The Inspring Vantage would have came in to play tapped, as she had more than 3 lands, but she would have had 4 mana avaliable on turn 5.

One of the best is a bit of a stretch, but it's a perfectly fine deck to play.

@@xXSamir44Xx Combined with some equip spells and it becomes really hard to deal with. The only other decks that can compete somewhat are black discard or green/black.

@@Reingnus Mono red and the build of mono red that splashes green can run it over pretty easily. Red white control and domain ramp also don't struggle with it too much or at least not as much as against other aggro decks.

@@xXSamir44Xx That is why I said good equipment. Sword of Forge and Frontier makes you immune to red/green and lets you mana ramp while at the same time having card advantage. Couple that with Sword of Once and Future and you are also immune to black/blue while surveiling and recasting low cost spells (of which White and Red usually have at galore).

@@Reingnus Getting one of those on a creature, let alone both, is very ambitious. I don't see expensive, sorcery speed buff making the deck better. If anything it takes away consistency. Plus, every deck runs artifact removal now, thanks to Urabrask's Forge, so the protection part is less relevant than you'd think.

Just to clarify about what happened, no, milling yourself doesn’t just mean “killing yourself” in a way that pleases KZbin. Mill is a magic term that refers to defeating an opponent by making them run out of cards (an automatic loss in MTG rules). That’s why he lost. The effect of Battlefield forge has nothing to do with it. That ability that deals 1 damage to its owner only could have happened after he played the card and chose to activate it, which didn’t happen.

No, the auto tapper killed him. Whilte milling is a mtg term, or any other card games for that matter, you only lose by milling when your library is at 0 and THEN you draw a card. Most likely Rosemi thought having 0 cards in hands is what killed him - but having 0 hands is not "milling your opponent." You only lose by milling when you are not able to draw a card - when your library is at 0. The opponent had more than 30 cards in his deck when he lost. What killed him was the autotapper, tapping Battlefield Forge for 1 Red Mana . The other land was a plain and a Rockface Village, which can only tap for red mana when casting a creature spell. So when the opponent played an instant spell, the auto tapper MUST tap the only avaliable mana, which is the red mana from Battlefield Forge - killing him instantly the spell was cast. This is quite common in MTG Arena.

I didn’t realize arena had an auto tap feature. Nonetheless the subtitle in the video is still incorrect. Rosemi is still referring the concept of milling, even if she misunderstood what happened. She isn’t saying “kill” but censoring herself.
