It keeps me glued to KZbin for hours every day. Right now I'm about 1350 and climbing. If I challenge 1400 and 1500 players I can often beat them. Good for my ego. Ego, ego and ego. Competition is pretty wonderful.

Eric, at 46:48, did you notice Qe1 with the follow up that if Bd2, you can play Qd1+ and since queen can't block on c2 (cuz it's protecting the bishop on f1), whites king would be forced to the fourth rank! I’m 1400 and can’t count how many times I’ve seen one of Eric’s videos and think Eric missed a brilliant move that I found only to later realize that I missed something and it was actually a blunder. This time though I finally found an actual good move that Eric missed the first time around with the f3 that he later realized with the engine at 36:50. I saw it as forced mate but again concerned I missed something like I had all the other times…for once I got it right 😅
