Roses Greedy & Pink Prestigium - Mancera

Roses greedy is all about Jasmin- feminine.
Pink Prestigium is all about the bitter grapefruit and undertones of leather with other notes- unisex.

I is an odd one. I also blind bought it, and it took me a minute to understand and appreciate it. I love it after a shower, before putting clothes on to spray all over. This way it's only on skin, not only around the neck, and it's refreshing.. I do need to be in a bit of a fighsty mood though..lol

@@IdaC I love that you are sharing it! On skin perfumes can pull different notes, I can only say what I smell on mine. This is one of the reasons I love Mancera, it is always changing and never boring 😀

When I first got roses greedy, I didn’t get it, it was hard to smell anything. But after I let it sit for a while and went back to it after several weeks, I smelled it better and I really like it,don’t love it, only because this one is light and airy but it’s perfect in the heat, I prefer roses vanille

I have Roses Greedy and rose there is so beautifully blended. I'm bulgarian and rose is our national flower so I know how rose bush & rose absolute smells since kid. This smell is somehow printed in my brain. I definitely can smell the rose as main note and for me next strong note is sugar, than jasmine, mandarin and vanilla. Beautiful blend! For photorealistic rose you can check Issey Miyake L`Eau d`Issey Rose & Rose but I personally don't like its base (for rose perfume). Now I'm waiting my Pink Roses from Mancera (blind buy) - I think that I'll love it :)

@@polly2018 my first impression from Pink Rose's after 3 days tests is: In the opening there is beautiful rose and citruses green musky smell. Later the aroma have twist to something different and I'm getting violet and patchouli with barely notisable sweet rose behind. I don't like patchouli note and for me it makes those violets "dirty". I love violets in other blends but in this one they are not beautiful. The scent is still light and fresh and I like it somehow, but I can't love it like Roses Greedy... I'll give it second chance in spring and summer. I've watched your video for Gold Aoud (I'm wood newbie and wanted to try it) and I got it. My first impression is that is cosy for cold rainy day with book and cup of tea :) Thank you!

Hello, dear Polly; it is been a while since your last video. I miss your reviews on Montale and Mancera. I was wondering if I should add Pink Prestigium to my collection. Given that my taste is very similar to yours, I would like to ask if you still recommend it after two years. I like Roses Greedy, but I don’t feel identified with it. I really expected more...something more interesting, I mean. I believe Pink Prestigium can be more suitable for my taste. Even Black Prestigium...Excellent video.

They are very different, Roses Greedy is a more familiar floral fregranc, Pink Prestigium is not..lol Black Prestigium is very mesquelin in the opening and it lasts for a few hours, the drydown is softer unisex. The opening of B.P is nothing like Dior Homme, only the drydown is similar. I love the B.P and P.P, now only the Gold is left to try.

My Co-worker wore his wife’s perfume to work - he always wears fragrances but on this day i had to ask him “What are you wearing ?” LOL - He said “Roses Greedy” - long story short - i bought a bottle and when i smelled the bottle it smelled nothing like what i smelled on him. I was smelling sugary chocolatey roses to my nose (very fem) - but eventually it settled down into my skin and morphed into a jasmine peach and black currant sexy fragrance

I have sample of Roses Greedy, I went outside and felt that beautiful expensive scent, and then I figured out it's Roses Greedy, because the silage is different than the initial blast. I'm contemplating of getting a full bottle

Polly, you have tried Black Prestigium, and now I’m very intrigued as I’ve tried Móntale Black aoud (masculine) and adore that powdery Rose Oud combo. Apparently both are very simmilar in the beggining but then takes diferent ways. Do you get, in BP, a noticeable powdery floral base when it beggings to dry down?

I have, you will love it. I find it to be dry woody oud and masculine in the opening that lasts a long time, but if flips and floral is added in a very dominant way, not just and only rose but floral. I love it, its perfect for fall and winter. It is though a powdery one, the dry wood at start, and more from the iris as the drydown progresses. Amazing! I haven't tried Black Aoud, is it good?

@@polly2018 Wow, I'll definitely go for BP. Black Aoud, the first time I tried it (and because it was compared to Juliet has a gun Midnight Oud which I had loved) I thought I had waisted even the money of the sample. That bad. Second time I definitely fell in love. It's a very powerful dry aoud in the begginning that last more than an hour and it ends up with the most beautiful powdery rose. Really, you feel the rose from the first moment but being the aoud so strong, only in the dry down it shines. It's a very clean and dry scent and the clothes, a day after.. OMG.

I just blind bought Jardin Exclusif, Roses Greedy and Gold Prestigum. I tried Sicily and liked it but I only want strong longevity, hoping Jardin performs better. Passed on velvet vanille as it gave me a toothache. Then I woke up the day after to the most sublime tuberose and ordered it too. I'm not crazy about vanilla but it depends on the blend and I abhor almond and tend to avoid pronounced oud. Lemon turns to cat pee on me . I love orris, sandal wood, cinnamon and amber and hope to complete the collection with something sweet sandalwood centric. Does anyone have any tips ?

Overall the review was terrible. After you first refer to the fragrances one was bitter the other was Rosie not too much Rosy more Jasmine. And then you start saying this one is more that this one is more bitter this one is more that, couldn't read the names on the bottles and both bottles look the same you did not indicate which one you was talking about by name. That was terrible and very long.

I’ve never understood how someone can comment and tell someone they did a terrible review or leave mean comments.
