Rosie's comments about taking time to talk to fans within the first couple of minutes to this video gets a thumbs up from me on its own.

I’m such a fan of Rosie. I’ve followed her since way back in the day and she’s become someone I literally look to for guidance in my own life. I’ve never met her but if I had the chance to, I’d hug her big. Then I would thank her for being genuinely herself. Rosie just stands out to me as being in a league of her own. As much as she says Babs is, she is too! What a kind spirit, and what a caring soul! I wish her health and happiness and I wish I was a part of her family. Who doesn’t wanna be able to call Aunt Ro when things get rough? ❤ I just am so thankful that TV had her leveling out the chaos that was 90s and early 2000s television. Great Job Mama Ro! 💪💪❤️❤️🫶

I really love Rosie. We don't see eye to eye on everything, but I respect her. She's honest, she's heartfelt and she's an open book. She really wears her heart on her sleeve and, in that respect, we're very much alike. She's a "friend in my head." I love listening to her talk... she just commands a stage. If you get a chance, a lot of her old Rosie O'Donnell Talk Show episodes/clips are here on youtube, look them up. They're so good! :D

Fun fact, when she mentions Julia Roberts auditioning for League Of Their Own and holding the bat incorrectly, it’s a bit from her 90s stand up. And there’s a clip from the Rosie show of Julia confronting her about that bit, saying she never auditioned for that movie. Rosie was busted and apologized in a cute and charming way. I’m surprised she’s still telling it.

Joan Rivers is so overrated. As a European I never got the hype around her - very American tbh
@Jasper71820098 ай бұрын
Joan Rivers was the best female standup comedian and she is one of the top three best American stand-up comedians ever. She wasn’t the first female standup because that would be Phyllis Diller. When Joan Rivers was on the Ed Sullivan show, it was great. She was different she was a woman she was doing topics that weren’t done before. And at the beginning it was self deprecating, the jokes were on her, the jokes were about her, I still remember her saying the joke about her being single and her mother was worried about it so her mother put a sign out in front of their house that said “last single female before freeway.” If you’re European, you wouldn’t understand that but Americans understood that joke. And Joan Rivers skewered the rich and the powerful and the privileged. Unfortunately Elizabeth Taylor did fall into those categories and I think that was the only person that Joan Rivers skewered regarding weight. But you don’t remember the times and I do. And Rosie O’Donnell should at least honor Joan Rivers’ work and persistence and the groundbreaking trials of Joan rivers. Especially considering what JOAN Rivers had to suffer from Johnny Carson. Rosie is A wonderful comedian and a great gal but she is shortsighted in many respects. And perhaps that Is the New Yorker in her
