Hey friends ! So glad to see all the positive feedback so far 😍 Sorry part II was a bit delayed, the editing process was HEAVY. I spent almost 200 hours personally completing these two videos this last 6 weeks. If anyone feels compelled to support my journeys or send a token of gratitude if you liked the video, please feel free to visit my Patreon - www.patreon.com/user?u=6037443 or you can send direct through E-transfer/Pay Pal - Rosiegabrielle@hotmail.com . KZbin now offers STARS as well 🤩 It would help me to produce more quality content like this! This trip was completely self funded and not sponsored and I didn't realize how long the editing would take, it was a big trip! If you would like to show your appreciation in other ways, I'd LOVE to see this video go viral 😍 fill up the comment section, share and like the video, it helps to boost the algorithm so more people can see it ! I hope you enjoyed this special journey, although difficult, I learnt a LOT! I tried my best as always to share my experience so that others can learn, feel inspired and take something away from the experience that they could apply or use on their own journey. This video was difficult to edit as I almost had to re-live all of the feelings I went through on this trip, and many things also going on behind the scenes that I didn't share or capture. As always, thank you for all the love and support ❤ I wouldn't be here if it weren't for those of you who watch and appreciate my work. 🙏🏼 Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and I'll try my best to answer as many as I can.

Very good filming and interesting interactions. However the lack of mountain skills is mindblowing. Or is it the disregard for common sense and high altitude guidelines that makes this trek an education and a warning of how not to behave in high altitudes. People risk their lives in trykng to rescue ill prepared tourists in mountains every season. God have been so graceful to memin my attempts to challenge nature or the laws of physics. Thank you God for your graceful love and the angels you surround us with even when we set out to do very dangerous and stupid stuff.❤ Risking our own life is crazy but risking others is cruel or at best ignorant or arrogant btw. Hwo paid for the rescue operation, it costs tens of thousands I gues..

When someone fails to plan appropriately, fails to train adequately, and is in other ways inadequately equipped for something like a long trek at altitude, the result is predictable. And then people wonder why so many people die on "adventures" like this.

I was told one week before I was going, and never told I was on expedition team 🤷🏼♀️ somethings are out of my control… also, everyone else on my team who was in same position as me were fine, just luck of the draw.
@antoniotula262 Жыл бұрын
@RosieGabrielle Whoever "planned" this expedition placed you and others in danger that could cost lives. It is very well known that far more than a week is required to train and acclimatize for any 8000m mountain. This "planner" chose the least preparation for one the most dangerous mountains. Cho Oyu is said to be the least technically difficult of the 8000m mountains and that still requires more preparation. Any 8000m mountain is a terrible idea for anyone with a respiratory or cardiovascular issue. Please do not be the next Leopoldina Jesus.

@@RosieGabrielleyou’re not owning this. When you heard they wanted to take you to one of the most dangerous places in the world, you should have done independent research on how the conditions would impact on your medical condition. You have my respect ma'am, your mental strength amazed me. But I'm beyond shocked that you were traveling with such an experienced team and still you had to face something that could've been fatal. It is advised to only gain 500 metres per day in order to avoid altitude sickness and give your body the time to adjust to the altitude. While traveling to the basecamp on 4 days is an achievement in itself but for someone who isn't pre acclimatized it is nothing short of foolishness. This could've been a really fun trip for you had the experienced team members helped you with proper guidance because what you faced could've been easily avoided. You have my warm wishes, best of luck for the future adventures.

It was a lovely K2 series Rosie. I love watching these kind of videos. Really appreciate the hardwork you put it. Only thing you messed up was the planning. I have seen people who prepare for 6 months to get ready for this trek and some even more. You chose an expedition team rather than a trekking company who would have given you a day rest at concordia & the trek would have taken 7 days in total to have enough rest and not 4 or 5 days. You are brave and tough. Anyone else would have suffered the same in these kind of conditions. It wasn't your body. Your body did really well, your planning didn't. Whatever it was worth watching. Liked and shared ✅

Glad you got the rescue from the heli, which reminded me of the porter whom we lost in the recent foreign expedition...if only our base camp is more developed to offer rescue services atop the mountain more readily available in future. At 16,896ft base camp for K2 is higher than the summit of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Western Europe. Really not at all surprises that you found it a HUGE challenge!

I can't understand how is it possible the porters and the group left anyone behind like that?? Was that a recognised tour guide company you went with? Glad all ended up well!
