Upcycling my charity shop finds and sideboard includes charity shop haul

Hey lovelies welcome back to my KZbin channel today I’m bringing you a little upcycling video so grab a cuppa and hopefully you’ll enjoy. The only items I showed available online are the following;
I found a lampshade dupe only £20;

I also found out you can buy colour theme book stacks / coffee table books already here so if you have a colour pallet you want in particular although I would say it’s better and cheaper to hunt in charity shops for them. I just know this isn’t always an option;

Stunning upcycles Rosie. The sideboard looks like a Neptune piece! 💕 I have a little charity shop story for anyone who'd care to read it 😁 Last year, I was very lucky to go to Italy for a few days with my best mate. On our last day, we found a beautiful gift shop in Florence and I found a gorgeous locally made tray. I couldn't really justify spending any more money, so I didn't get it. This year we went to Wales and I was passing a charity shop in Cardigan and what do you think was in the window! 😱 I nearly fell up the steps to get in there. I bought it for £1.50, as opposed to 40 euros in Florence. It was made in Florence and exactly the same design that i had fallen in love with. 😭💕💕💕

Love how your lamp stand turned out . If you had painted it it might have “ disappeared” into the background. You did a great job on the sideboard. I saw somewhere someone had stacked green coloured books on top of each other , smallest on top. Then they draped small lights & baubles on them & put a star on top. It looked like a little Christmas tree vignette.

Wow it all looks amazing. I love these videos. There used to be a tv programme in the mornings 30 years ago where designers went into people homes and did rooms up with what was in their homes and garages, and a bag full of paint colouring and other useful bits, so along with a designer and a chippy they transformed houses using wood they had in garages and adding colours to white pain, all stuff that u could do yourself, it gave u so much inspiration, just like your videos xxx

Oh Rosie, I LOVE these videos - I'm barely on KZbin these days but this reminded me why i loved your channel! Such clever upcycles. Loved the shelf styling, i thought the radio looked good on bottom shelf 👍 And the sanding and skirting off cut on the hallway drawers really made it next level! Love this style of video ,I❤ learn so much .can't resist a charity shop and the potential to get a bargain .I'm currently collecting fab finds to recycle for my newly decorated bedrooms . Things can look so expensive and chic with a little time, effort and a can of spray paint ,or rubb and buff for small metal ornaments to update.

Your lamp turned out beautifully. I’m one of those people who, when styling everything must be in odd numbers. I would move your little jug on the bottom shelf to the middle shelf of your unit and pop it beside the wicker basket. (this is only my opinion 😊) x

Great finds. Brilliant upcycle. I would move the wicker flower pot to the right side and the white pots to the left on the middle shelf and keep the radio on the bottom shelf. Then your "richer natural browns" zig-zag from top left, middle right, bottom left. (At the moment you have these tones top-heavy on the left side).

What a super video ❤️ If the candle doesn't want to stay put in the milk jar, you could use it as a diffuser and put some black or neutral diffuser reeds in it x😊
