Let's Sew the Omnia Pouch - DIY Free Pattern by Rosie & David Patterns

This is a step-by-step tutorial to make the Omnia Pouch which is a free pattern for members of my Facebook Group designed by Rosie & David Patterns. It measures approximately 10" Wide by 6" High by 3" Deep. The zipper is bound and spans the width of the pouch continuing down the sides of the pouch and is secured to the sides with KAMsnaps. The pouch is made from 100% Cotton Quilting Fabrics and Pellon Flex Foam. The fabric featured in the video are from Tula Pink's collection called Curiouser and Curiouser. As a new subscriber I wish I found you when I decided I love sewing bags and tried to follow other KZbin videos that involved hours of watching and listening to their instructions. Another Superb video!! your step by step instructions give me confidence !! I am making this as a make up bag for my daughter with an interior pocket I'll attach the pocket to the interior prior to adding it to the foam and exterior so as to not see the stitching on the exterior. I used some interfacing to secure the pocket.. It came out great!! Thanks again Rosie! I always get so excited when I see a video from you... I have watched them all and am a fan....

I've never made a bag like this before and after watching this morning I couldn't wait to get started! When you refer to "baste" along edges do you use a longer stitch length? It didn't seem like that was the case on the video. Maybe I am confused about the terms? Wonderful video!

you can use a longer stitch length if you prefer. I think I used a 3.4 stitch length. The intent is just to,sew the edges together. Thanks for watching.

It is vinyl fabric. it is not HTV if that is what you are referring to for the Cricut.
