Thanks for the recipe. My mom (85) was talking about these this past week and I was hoping to find in a bakery but nobody is selling them anymore so I thought I would make them - NO WAY! This is way beyond my skills but I enjoyed watching your video. If anyone knows of a bakery near Fremont CA (I'm willing to drive a bit), let me know.

Thanks for sharing Angela 🤗for sure l will try it out, it does look yummy😊 and you are right l totally agree with you. No ones perfect, these people who correct others have nothing better to do with their lives. We are not perfect, life is not perfect, we must face our challenges and mistakes that is how we learn and become wiser . Happy Valentine’s Day!🥰

I have never had them or heard of them until I watched your video. This is your first attempt at a recipe that you did not grow up with and you did a great job. The first time I made bolos levedos they were hard as a rock...and it took many attempts before I got it right to my liking. As with many recipes handed down by our loved ones they are just the ingredients without providing the method/instructions. A big high five from me to you for a job well done.😊🙋♀️

You said in the video 6 cups of flour but in the description it says 12cups and all the other ingredients are what you said can you please say what is right thank you Great job

I explain how in the video how I made a mistake in the conversion of the measurements from teams to cups. It is 12 cups and the right amounts is what’s in the recipe. Thank you for watching my video.

I believe you had too many eggs, it's 8 whole eggs and 4 yolks per 1 kilogram of flour and you have to knead the dough REALLY well until very smooth and it's not a sticky dough. You do need to make your cuts deeper and they need to go into a 400°F oven and once they puff up reduce the heat to 325°F -350°F until they are baked through. Hope this helps! As you said what counts is the flavour!! Good for you for trying, they are time consuming and a bit finicky!!

My recipe ask for 36 whole eggs for 3 kilograms of four. I left 12 eggs out it sound to many eggs. But thank you for the correction I appreciate very much.
