Dr. Ross Levine. Yes, he is a doctor of physical therapy...hurts them in the pit and rehabs them in his business.

Glad you mentioned "physical therapy". In other words, he's the kind of doctor that you don't need to be brainy or study hard to graduate. In my books, that's like calling my phys-ed teacher "doctor".

@@kindface that’s not very nice of you. Why would you discredit the years of schooling I put in? I think your credentials as a phys Ed teacher are fantastic and you should be very proud of the work you do. I’m proud of the many people that I help to be better athletes and humans.

Because it's kickboxing not karate. No open hand strikes (ridge hands or palm heel like in Pancrase). Throwing techniques are limited to a few. 99% of the fighters are no names and not recognizable names (like Machida, Schilling, Rochold, etc.). If people want to see high level fighters there are any number of other promotions to watch. The only thing they've got going for them is that ring, which is basically an extreme version of Chuck Norris' WCL ring and that submission series.

Sam Alvey is there because he's basically retired and couldn't fight at the UFC level and yet he beat Ross. Even looks in worse shape these days. That speaks volumes the skill level of competition in KC compared to UFC even unranked, just comparing the kick boxing.
@RLFighter1
@RLFighter1 3 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t agree with that. It’s not like Sam was getting KOd every fight. He had some up and down decisions. We also fought at a higher weight class than my normal and he has 8x the experience I have. He’s still a savage and the way I rebounded should demonstrate the glow up you receive from being in there with a man of Sam’s caliber.

Sort of a poor man's kick boxing isn't it? Really a lot of flaws in this art that would get exposed by kick boxers, Muy thai and Savate guys. Sure they could get good at those other arts with the foundation they have, but as their fighting style exists it has a ton of holes. Why segregate and create an inferior product. I don't get it. It's that old "classical mess" Bruce Lee talked about.
