Ross you’re spot on about Bret & Shawn hating each other but being professional enough to do business in the ring (up till Montreal! Lol) and make money. Pity certain EVP’s at AEW couldn’t do the same to wrestlers like Punk & FTR especially when it was the money match fans wanted to see BUT they don’t care cause they’re getting the money and kid on they want AEW and Tony Khan to make money! You always say Shawn Michaels was more toxic than cm punk but the thing is the locker room in Shawn Micheals time was way more toxic in general . It was more ruthless, full of drug abuse, Pain. Shawn Michaels acknowledges his past faults but what annoys me is the narrative that he was so terrible to people who were Angels when reality he an was an being an asshole amongst assholes, it’s just Shawn had the luxury of being Vince’s guy. Shawn was ruthless against his fellow ruthless competitors but when it came to fans and especially kids, Shawn was as kind as it gets.
