@@pleaseshutup7053 *A handful of people. Trust me, people like Taker and Micheals were the exception, not the rule. Wrestling was and is a cutthroat business run by shysters and carny's. People got taken advantage of a lot. Taker's first wrestling teacher literally took his money and ran. The Hardy's were making like, $50 a show because the guy claiming to get them the gig was taking a $100 booking fee every time. Many bookers famously were sketchy as hell trying to actually get your pay at the end of the night.

Let this be a lesson to all of you watching. Money > loyalty. Just because you’re loyal to someone doesn’t mean they’re loyal to you. If you’re in a relationship and both you and your partner are struggling, you’re paying the bills, and everything is riding on you and someone offers you to be with them and they’ll take care of you financially and you’ll never have to stress about any of that ever again, TAKE IT.

I've read a good post about what likely would happen if Tommy's plan went through. If he killed Paul, that's the death penalty in Texas even if he doesn't go through with offing himself too. Vince would get investigated by the federal government (so basically it would be a day ending in Y), WWE would have to answer for how the hell a wrestler was able to shoot and kill a commentator, ECW's and WWE's financial history would be investigated, potentially causing the current Vince scandal some twenty years before it currently came out. If WWE survived the investigations, there would be a serious mental health monitor going forward, chair shots to the head probably get banned years before they did in this current timeline, Brock Lesnar never debuts in WWE after Mania 17, Benoit might never experience the CTE that takes both his and his family's lives away, and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if this somehow prevents 9/11 from happening with how deep this butterfly effect goes.
