The video was full of stereotypes, I enjoyed it a little bit because it was fun seeing the girls interact, but from the title and video thumbnail to the videos showed it's clear it's a battle of stereotypes. The "culture" videos about Europeans were not accurate (and I'm sure very stereotypical for South American countries too), like if they are going to show these kinds of videos, at least make sure they are about the countries of the people you bring in to record the video. On another note, many people have said what's wrong with the tittle, but as someone from Spain, why did they give the Catalan flag (in the thumbnail) to the girl from Mallorca, Islas Baleares? They are two different autonomous communities!! Also, if you give the autonomous community flag to one of the Spanish girls, you should also do the same for the other Spanish girl and the other girls (like be specific about each region each girl is from).

15:00 Oh this is not Brazil tho, most people there are from India (we love India btw), it was in the last world cup. Fun fact: One of the most competitive championship of the world is the *Brasileirão* (Brazil National championship) 🇧🇷 In 2021, the competition was chosen by the IFFHS as the strongest national league in South America as well as the strongest in the world. Really, this is another level of entertainment! Is like watch a tv drama. The physical and psychological pressure that athletes go through is no joke. If a football player can stand out on Brasileirão he is the BEST of the Best. And they can go to any team in the world they want. This championship happens every year, during almost the whole year (the 2024 Brasileirão is about to start). So Brasileirão (and other national stuff) is everything brazilians care about, we don't even care to world cup this much (in fact the national team is not very loved here nowdays because most of them play in Europe and don't have a bond with brazilian fans), nor other America's championships (because the prize money of ours is bigger) but we are still winning those too. Anyways for me the local teams from Brasil are the one who truly represents our football. ❤

Argentinians are americans, brazilians are americans, mexican are americans! but they're not recognized as americans only ppl from USA. Other thing that makes NO sense at all is calling "Mexicans/ Middle and South Americans" as "latin", latin is not a race, it's a language! and USA people are just called "white", since Europe invaded and forced their culture over America the so called "latins" are WHITE too, look at Ana!, other people born in the USA that's not "white" always have to be called something else (that can't be "white" or American) black people are AFRO-american, asians are Asian-American, etc... but white USA people are not called euro-american they are just "white" or "american" 🙄erasing the CONTINENT over their country.

Or that until 2012 all of us Latin countries were part of an international organization called the Latin Union, with its headquarters in Paris, which was founded to safeguard, promote and unite the entire Latin world? And that the term "Latin lover", which today many Latin Americans make their own, in reality was created for us Italians and consequently for all the other Latin peoples of the Mediterranean? We have the inscriptions on the monuments that affirm our Latinity in Italy, and we have always considered ourselves Latins, only that today due to the Americans (everyone... from Alaska to Argentina) there is misinformation about Latinity. This same alphabet that we adopt to communicate is called "Latin alphabet" and originated in Italy, therefore in Europe, not in America. I'd like to add info to the football section. When my uncle was a teen, he traveled to the south of Brazil with friends. He was in a bus and there were Argentinians going back to their country after some match (not sure if it was a clubs or nations game), but the Brazilian team won and my uncle and friends bothered the Argentinians the entire trip. Eventually they had a stop in the road and the bus left earlier than the time agreed, my uncle in the middle of nowhere with no phones at the time - not even sure if my grandparents had landlines at that point - was in despair. The best answer they got was "oh you'll have to wait for the next bus", but they had luggage in the one that left... About half an hour later their bus got back to the stop, the Argentinians realized they were missing and told the driver. My take is: make hell of rivals lives when they loose a match, it's worth it.

Being German-American, yeah, we don't dance. Maybe a polka or a waltz at somebody's wedding, that's about it. We're usually in the band, our sense of rhythm comes through in making music as opposed to dancing to it. It's more fun watching the ladies dance anyway.

France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Andorra and Romania are all similar because of the Latin background. The Roman Empire and Latin language origin. Because of that when Spain and Portugal explored the world and set up colonies they brought over that same culture. But in the America’s that culture was mixed and integrated with native and African customs and traditions. So we’re all Latins. Some Latin European and others Latin American. HISPANIC DOES NOT MEAN LATINO. HENCE WHY THEY ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TERMS. NOR ARE THE MAJORITY OF SOUTH CENTRAL AMERICANS AND MEXICANS EVEN “HISPANIC” AS IT IS A MISNOMER SPANISH TERM. REAL HISPANOS ARE THE PROMINENT DESCENDANTS OF HISPANIA AKA SPAIN. SOUTH CENTRAL AMERICANS AND MEXICANS ARE NATIVE AMERICANS WHO WERE CONQUERED AND RULED BY SPAIN. AND REAL ETHNICALLY LATINO MEN AND WOMEN ARE THOSE OF PROMINENT MEDITERRANEAN ITALIAN DESCENT. I REALLY WISH THAT NORTH AMERICANS AND OTHER INDOCTRINATED COUNTRIES THAT HVE BEEN FALSELY INFLUENCED BY THE ERRONEOUS ANGLO LANGUAGE WOULD LEARN AND RESPECT ACTUAL HISTORY AND ACTUAL HISTORICAL CULTURAL IDENTITIES AND THE SOLE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM. THE FALSE TERMS “HISPANIC” OR “LATINO” ARE NOT UNIVERSAL TERMS FOR NATIVE AMERICANS WHO WERE COLONIZED BY LATIN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, IT IS INSTEAD ERRONEOUS TERMS MISUSED BY UNEDUCATED PEOPLE AND BY THOSE WHO SUFFER FROM PSYCHOLOGICAL CULTURAL DETACHMENT ISSUES. REAL LATIN/LATINO MEN AND WOMEN ARE THOSE OF MEDITERRANEAN ITALIAN DESCENT! “Latino/Latin”?! No. REAL ethnically Latino men and women are the prominent Mediterranean descendants of LATIN EUROPE, specifically those of Mediterranean Italian descent. And we have typical Mediterranean features, That is what ACTUALLY being ethnically Latino represents. Hence how the place Latina Italy got the historical Latin name *LATINA* because that is where the REAL Latino culture and ethnicity comes from! Southern Europeans ARE the REAL ethnically Latino people. Indoctrinated Americans, mostly North Americans have adopted the Anglo languages false linguistic influences of the misappropriation, mutilation and cultural R@P3 of ITALIAN Latin terms and identity. Anything else calling itself “Latino/Latin” is a historical Falsity as You can NOT be part of an origin, history and ethnicity which your ancestors FACTUALLY are NOT historically responsible for. Indigenous Americans, mestizo Americans, Castizo Americans, pardos, Zambos and those of sub Sahara African descent of south Central America and Mexico who were colonized by Latin European countries have absolutely NOTHING to do with being ethnically Latino. That is ALL “Latin” America was named to mean, to mean the part of the Americas that were conquered and ruled by Latin European countries in opposition to “Anglo” America which was conquered and ruled by Anglo Europe. It ends there. Claiming to be “Latino” has become trending propaganda to appear more desirable for social status for social advantage amongst those who suffer from psychological cultural detachment, only uneducated people from indoctrinated countries tolerate and encourage this delusional nonsense. It is the cultural R@p3 and cultural erasure towards actual Latin Mediterranean people. REAL Latins are racially Mediterranean people who share much of our DNA with the Middle East, North Africa and other Mediterranean groups such as Greece and Albania. Genetically we do Not share the same genetic DNA as northern or Central Europeans due to the Mediterranean which has always been the contributing factor to our racial differences. THE TERM LATINO COMES FROM THE LATINI TRIBE OF ITALY! LATINO IS SINGULAR FOR LATINI AS LATINI IS PLURAL! THE SAME WITH LATINA AND LATINE! THESE ARE ALL LATIN TERMS FROM ITALY!

There is a big dispute when it comes to compering these two cultures. However, despite the strong emphasis on most Latin Europeans to not have anything to do with Latin Americans, Latin Americans come from Europe. Being Latino means that we come from the Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Romanian. This is simple thing to know. Latin Americans have mainly Spanish decency like Dominican Republic for instance. However, to both continents they think that they are completely different. This is led to the different mixtures of cultural backgrounds in America such as Native American, African and mainly European. At the end we come from Europeans and they come from us as well.

Calling Portuguese speakers as hispanics is ridiculous. And anyway, you would ALSO be wrong, because in the continent America, what we have are HISPANIC AMERICANS. And I said Latino is wrong, but LATINO AMERICANO is correct. Because by saying LATINO AMERICANO(A), what you referencing are people who speak a LATIN language that were born in AMERICA (the New World)

@@InfoRome "For fuck's sake Italy is the original Latin country as Latium, the region of Rome, is in Italy." That's what I said! Roma Aeterna Victrix! I just disagree they are all "latins". Latin, without an adjective, and as you surely know, was a tribe from which the italic language Latin came. You said Latin Americans and Latin Europeans are all Latins. I think that goes back in circles, as if all these millions of people belonged to an ethnic group Gisele Bündchen and Pelé are not the same ethnic group of course. I would agree that Latin Americans and Latin Europeans are all Romance/Latin speakers and share a lot of historical background (which obviously varies a lot in Latin America... as despite the language, religion, institutions, law, etc, there are places where Native Americans are majority... Mexico prides itself a lot in having a native name, native symbol in their flag, several stuff and customs that are native). Bolivia and Peru have quite strong native culture too and appearance. On the other hand, there are really big areas where Portuguese and Spanish AND ITALIAN descendants are the majority. There are areas of Brazil where they speak Veneto dialect and still resent Napoleon ending the Venice Republic lol. I mean, we can all agree they are quite culturally italian, despite some 100-150 years of separation...

@@rogeriopenna9014Sorry for my English, I have a low level and I have used Google Translate. But if you say Latin American you would also be referring to some states in the United States such as California or Texas, since there is no official language in the United States, and you would also be talking about Canada since French is an official language along with English. By saying Latin American you are encompassing the vast majority of countries in America, therefore from my point of view the word loses its meaning since America and Latin America would be synonymous. What I want to say is that to differentiate Spanish-speaking people what you would have to say is Hispanic-American, and if you want to include Brazil the word would be Ibero-American.

I got offended of what Giulia said lmao, but it’s fine, since it isn’t true of what she said, not even the slightest lol Correction: The siesta is a Spanish culture, we don't take naps, The movies portray Mexico this way, because Hollywood filmmakers unfortunately cannot distinguish Spain and Mexico. It's like when Hollywood portray Italy as a mafia country or an Italian tanned arab-looking man with hairy body and a mustache who works in a pizzeria, which isn’t true. Like cmon it’s Hollywood we are talking about, Nobody gets their knowledge from Hollywood lmao but anyway, there are no siesta in Mexico. In fact Mexico is ranked with the longest work hours and shortest rest hours in the world . We are too busy being the hardest workers 😚 She should already know this, being a neighbor of Spain. Even the 2 Spanish women corrected her “no, that's Spain” lmao. I'm surprised that Daphne didn’t said anything, she seems the type to say something, but you can see her expression of Giulia's unexpected comment... leaving Daphne a little speechless and just staring … But No hate to Giulia, she is still my favorite person there 🇮🇹 🇲🇽 ❤️

she's probably well aware of the unfair portrayal since she's italian and as you mention usa is obsessed with portraying all italians as these dark sicilians most likely because it was mostly sicilians that came there around 100 years ago.

Catalonia it's in Spain ❤ I'm from Barcelona and the majority of people speak Spanish. Catalan it's a regional language as the basque, valencian, galician, aranes, etc... But we're the same country by the Spanish Constitution ❤ Don't play politics in this, don't make this to my country. Speaking for myself and the great majority of people I know here included my family and friends we feel Spanish ❤

There's no such thing as Latin America. The Roman Empire never travelled to America, so Latin was never spoken there.

The notion of "latino" refering uniquely to south americans is an american creation. "Latino" means someone who speaks a language originated from latin, people from the former West Roman Empire: italian, french, spanish, portuguese, rumanian, also part of Belgium and Switzerland. Of course, south americans can also be considered latinos as long as they descend from those people, but there is no need to emphacise this.
