Thank you, been doing some practicing with my 2294, so far with it the best I’ve gotten is 13/100 of a second for 2 shots and 15/100 so the second quite a few times, which is really weird because I was comparing it with an AR style 22 and I couldn’t shoot The semi automatic faster I guess I just can’t pull the trigger that fast, But it makes no sense you can lever something faster than you can pull the trigger, You need to get a timer it’s a whole Lotta fun 🤩

I was looking for lower cost options for a matching SAA and Lever. I found my SAA 1st in a used EMF Alchemista in 45 Colt. So the hunt began for a 45 Colt Lever. I looked at a lot of used levers but always in the wrong caliber. Hit a gun show just down the road and a local Gunsmith had a table full of these. I will be honest, I was giving up on finding a 45 colt lever. And just seeing if he had a 44mag . Then I saw it...a 45 colt R92 Braztech stainless model with a round 20" barrel! So it went home with me and I ordered up some ammo from Freedom Munitions which was rated about 50 fps slower than Remington for under 1/2 the cost. 44 cents a round then. I have been looking at the Marble Arms Bullseye sight and some Skinner's to make it a bit more personal.

The fastest leverguns are the 1873 models with the short stroke packages installed - for cowboy action shooting. The Marlin Cowboy is the next fastest and the 92 and others are behind that - why? The length of throw of the lever - it's that simple. I used to own a Marlin Cowboy 45 Colt (boy do I miss that) and I just bought a Rossi blued 20" carbine in 45 Colt. I am impressed with the fit and finish of my new Rossi - much improved over the old Puma and the front sight is dovetailed in the barrel as is proper. The markings on mine are all on the left side of the barrel... Rossi R92 .45 Colt - Made in Brazil by CBC (top line) and Braztech International Bainbridge GA (bottom line). The front sight has a brass bead and the stock in dark with reddish cast more like the rifle you are shooting. The buttstock is flat on the top but it's rounded nicely... like I said the fit and finish is superb. The forestock is nice and sveldt too. Oh, and the loading gate is not sharp - it's been deburred - so it seems that Taurus has been listening to customer feedback. I highly recommend these to anyone interested = they are worth more than the price ($700) these days.

This is in my letter for Santa to bring me, but because I’m a little old guy, I’m leaning towards the carbine. 45 Colt. Were the levers the same size? Maybe it’s just me, but in the video, the loop looked a little larger on the rifle. Also, isn’t it very possible that design attributes on both have been changed compared to the models you show here? Got myself a new Miroku in 357, "short rifle". Haven't fired it yet, but looking forward to it. With Underwood and Buffalo Bore, the velocities in 158gr can be really wild, easily over 2000 fps.

I want a rossi r92 in 454 casull. 20 inch carbine model, 10+1 rounds of 454 casull which is a proven elephant, hippo, lion, rhino and cape Buffalo killer. It'll drop ANYTHING on the face of the earth and anything in North America too.

Those two look like regular rifles to me. Now my Rossi 16 in barreled 44 Magnum thats an example of a carbine.

Ah hell...Here we go....I've been circling the R-92 in it's various calibers for years now. I SHOULD have purchased the new in the box Puma chambered in .44-40 way back in 1985 that I found buried under a ton of other new rifles in a little gun shop in Texas while I was stationed at Fort Hood....But I loved my daughter more than I wanted that carbine and bought the poodle puppy she wanted for her birthday instead. Now, I think I'll get off my butt and see if I can find an R-92 just for grins and chuckles and for old times sake....But that safety will have to go at some point. I think I'll focus on one in either .44 Magnum or maybe .357 or .45 Colt....There, see what you've done?

Don't show how fast you are in public 5:00. Because if the Democrats see the video, they think lever actions are faster than AR15's and they will try to ban your militay style assault levergun.

You always need to keep your rifle loaded. You never know when you have to defend yourself. You just unload it when you’re ready to test it and then you reloaded as quick as you can. Otherwise you might get gun down

I'd say anything with 150 yards with appropriate loads in 45 Colt is a gonner. Even big beasts. Opening sequence of this video gives the viewer a little better idea of the horsepower, and he's not even shooting high pressure loads. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jabJiaaQfNisoZo

A customer of of the company I work for, won the cowboy action shooting here in Alabama, and he both uses them and smooth them up for people, he claims they’re really good guns once you smooth them up, however, I would prefer a Winchester, but he puts aftermarket parts in them,too so obviously you can get parts

Henry is better
@Leverguns50 Жыл бұрын
I respect your thoughts can you explain what’s better? about a henry. my henry is a lot slower to shoot because it has an 8 1/2 inch stroke versus 6 1/2 for the Rossi it’s also a lot heavier, end it has a longer but weaker action, because The Rossi will shoot the 454 with a 65,000 psi, that being said there’s nothing wrong with the henry. I’m just curious what your thoughts are and why you like it more, I personally like all lever actions
