I've been running CCI standard velocity and had pretty good results. Sometimes when I'm too aggressive closing the bolt I can feel the nose of a round grab a bit but usually still feeds. When I'm smooth with the bolt no issues. I wanted to keep open sight to keep it light and nimble. Strictly a 30yd plinker for me and for that so far I love it.

I have one as well. Sometimes the rounds fail to correctly enter the chamber and it jams up.

What is the length of pull? Is it comfortable to shoot?

It's short, like a median between a regular 22 stock and a youth model, 16.5" barrel length and maybe 12" lop, I'll measure it later.

@@Goodtoknow22 speaking of, I happen to have it right here, and my measuring tape reads between 11¼" lop at the center of the trigger, to 11½" lop at the bottom of the trigger where it curves. 31¾" overall length.

Can you single load shorts or will that damage the extractor?

Have not tried that. I would think you could load them. I have noticed that once in a while I get empty brass sticking in the breach and not extracting. But then we are talking .22cal and a sub $200 rifle. I think .22 shorts would run but when you change back to long they might stick unless you clean the breach. So damn hot and buggy out lately have not been shooting in a while.

Definitely not for everybody. This rifle fit perfectly for what I wanted to do with it and what I wanted to pay. The youth bolt action CZ is so nice and also has a mag. But it is a lot bigger, heavier and a lot more expensive.

It has a machined dovetail groves so I would think so.

That's a $99.00 dollar rifle. I've got pellet rifles made with way better quality that cost 100.00 dollars.

@@musicgroopie1 Was my honest review nothing more. For what I paid and what I wanted it for I have really enjoyed it. Your prob right this is better suited in the $99 price point. But then you pay more than that for a base model cricket and this is way better than that.
